I strongly disagree. I would find it very nice if relics became a new standard. Requiring a year+ and hundred millions of gil to get some useless graphic/stats in a video game is just pathetic. I used to just look at people with relics as being awarded a "life failure" or "complete social loser" stamp but... wait I still do.

I think it would be funny if they made ancient currency rare/ex.

It would be nice to see more people that are casual players be able to obtain top end items. Don't hand them out but make it easier to obtain.

I love reading these posts, it's like a cycle that never ends.

SE Announces Version Update -> Everyone gets excited, a few people warn them they will be disappointed. Talk of new Avatar starts.

SE Announces New Missions -> A few "Hurrays!" a bunch of "Whatever, I'm still on XXXX03, when are they announcing the rewards?"

SE Announces their "BIG THING" (Level Sync, Unions, etc.) -> Forums go crazy with speculation, people say it will be the best update ever. Talk of new avatar increases exponentially.

SE Announces Job Adjustments -> Everyone wonders where their Blm or Nin updates are. (Nin got lucky this time.) Jokes about Pld and Sam updates. New Avatar talk is at a boil.

SE Announces minor stuff to enhance the game subtly that many of us won't use a week after update -> Many complain about how useless it is, many secretly go and try half of the stuff after updates. "THERE MUST BE AN AVATAR NOW AFTER THIS CRAP!"

SE Announces Version Update is Complete! -> 80% Chance of no Avatar. 20% Chance there is an avatar, but Summoners can't use it. Every Summoner cries in the corner and complains about how SE hates them. Riots are thrown and Pandemonium (Not the avatar) is rampant. Nearly every comment for the first few pages is about the lack of an avatar, and slowly trickles away until by the time the game is live, everyone has come to grips with the fact that when SE promises you a new avatar, it's one that you will never own. Ever.

Rinse and repeat every version update.

I agree with this 100%... in the past they used to give particulars about new job abilities, spells, etc.

I was referring to the Enmity +5 on it lol. Now people will be redoing the BC for a new augment. I'm guessing probably like Eva +10 for utsu recast.

A threat from someone that probably still lives with his parents while being unemployed is quite pathetic. The fact that you replayed so negatively to this just shows that you consider yourself a loser.

Saying it to your face or not still will not change my opinion on the current relic/mystic system.

I find the mystic system to be more realistic as it just requires you to complete a mass majority of things in the game. I do think that the alex, nyzul tokens, and ichor is a little ridiculous.

I will never complete a mystic or relic weapon, it would be nice to, but the time and money required is far to much.

Because I don't love Fastcast AND Enmity on all of my spells? FC+5, Enmity+5 is still the king of PLD casting bodies. Utsusemi generates hate too. In a game of inches, I'll take anything I can get.
