The first and 2nd Spiderman wasn't too terrible, it was the 3rd that really sucked hardcore. And it's fairly well known that the studio forced venom and such on Raimi and he wanted nothing to do with it in the film. I think Blizzard will be a reasonable and good company for Raimi to work for and can probably get a really good film out there.

Could go either way on this one. Raimi redeemed himself to me a little bit with Drag Me to Hell. But the abomination that Spiderman 3 was screams for blood to be spilled in retribution.

Problem with Raimi is that he tends to cock up if you give him too big a budget.
