Once it hits DVD/ITunes, it will end up at least reaching the breaking even point. Amazed at the cost they spent for advertisements. I thought the movie was better then how it was reviewed, but could see how if you're not a fan of Warcraft, you wouldn't enjoy it.

Doesn't even matter if they break even. If investors put up that much money for the movie, they want a significant return. It would probably need to hit at least $800 million, which it won't.

It might. I went with a friend who plays WoW like 3 times a year and has very little knowledge of the lore and he really enjoyed it, but I ended up having to explain some shit to him.

Nope. It's pretty simple to follow through.

I didn't think it was a terrible movie, definitely one of the better video game movies for sure but strip away the effects and it's basically a movie you'd see on ScyFy with a yuuuuuge budget.

Conversely, if your only expose was Warcraft and Warcraft II, you're probably going to be a bit confused..

I lasted 35 minutes and had to turn it off, the acting was too painful to watch. Special effects were tiptop though

Finally watched and there were some parts I liked. I thought orcs were pretty cool but holy fuck the armor humans wore just took me out of the movie. They just looked like some cosplay plastic because if they were really metal there would be no way they could log around this much weight and move. Also, the young wizard maybe the worst actor I ever seen.

They were actually armor sets afaik. Just not as thick as they appeared
