    Watchful Pixie Strats

After Spending Countless hours Searching for good strats for the different zones I figured it would be best to just create a thread here so ppl can post the strat they use. any additional info is appreciated. like which zones offer better stats or more frequent stats. Please If you use a strat and win Post Confirmed or if you try a strat and just cant get it to work tell why.

    West Sarutabaruta(S)(F-10)

    East Ronfaure (S) (J-7)
    need a good PLD

PLD DD DD BLM WHM RDM

opens with ES sleepga II, PLD tag orc NM and tank at a corner. PLD can TP and atonement etc np. DD kill sheep x 4 > rams x 2

While killing the 2 rams, you will find sheeps repop. just sleep them and bring down the 2 rams fast. BLM burn all your MP on the 2 rams. they need to go down fast. After rams are down its fairly easy, kill the remaining sheeps (should repopped 4 already), it is best to 1 DD per sheep from here after the rams are down. After sheeps, DDs go TP on orc.

Sheeps pop 5 mins per. so when it pop, just used your TP from both the DD and kill sheeps, its easy friom here

BLM is main damage for the orc. rest and burn etc

    Fort Karugo-Narugo (S) (G-7)

    PLD/NIN, SAM/NIN, SAM/NIN, MNK/NIN, RDM/BLM, WHM/BLM

Very easy fight was able to beat it in 3-5min, been doing it for days. Mages sleep the adds while pld hold one gigas (do not give it tp) and the DDs zerg down the 2nd gigas. After the 1st gigas die, DDs kill the last gigas, if adds pop and gigas still have a good chunk of hp let DD zerg down the adds, other wise mages sleep the adds and DD zerg down the last gigas. It seems like killing one gigas will leave you with 2 adds respawning once per 3-4 min.

The gigas have very slow swings w/o any slow debuff, I can cast ichi in between swings. They can do multiple Might Strike and spam Power Attack and it can hit a pld for 1.5k+. If the DD who has hate is out of shadow, he/she can run out of range easily. Other than power attack, it has another move that seems to be splash damage around the target. Deals 400-1k damage to me with a good paralyze effect to it. Forcing the gigas into mighty strike mode which I believe is base by %of HP will make the gigas spam power attack instead of that move. Every tp move (only 2 anyway) from the gigas have a long animation to it so you can stun/run out of range.

    PLD/NIN
    DD x2
    BRD
    RDM/BLM
    WHM (Helard's gaiters)

Our strategy was to kill 1 Giga > kill all snolls > kill the other Giga. Our WHM kited the second giga at start until first one is dead. 2 snolls will repop every 4~ minutes (not sure). You can keep all snolls slept if you want, they will resist sleep sometimes.
The gigas have high-ish evasion for 1handers, they will use Might Strikes and spam TP moves during 2hr (Mostly Power attack), they also have 2 new TP moves, One is AoE Ice damage + paralyze, the other is line attack Ice damage (Looks different from Ice Roar).
Every 2 snolls seem to be associated with 1 Giga, Each Giga will keep respawning them every 4~ minutes, Sometimes the Snolls will do a 2hr animation at the same time the Giga does Mighty Strikes, they will just spam TP moves like Freeze Rush and Cold Wave.

    Grauberg (S) (J-11)

    Party Setup- pld/nin blm/whm rdm/blm DDx3
Kill surrounding mobs for TP before pop(The mobs are not effected by -ga spells and will not link with the event mobs)
Buff up >> ES Sleep Wivre but do not cast on the Boss you will get hate and die quick.

PLD: kite Boss around the stone. the mob runs in a huge circle and you can cut through the middle and then run from side to side and have the boss stay on one side of the stone, this means you can kite him forever without any dmg.

DD: AFTER wivre are asleep one DD pull a wivre from the group RDM DIA II/III the wivre that was pulled only 2 WS should be needed with dia III to kill this wivre the goal is to kill it before it gets TP.
Pull another, The next wivre will do a attack down debuff. rdm(if /whm) and blm should erase it immediately not erasing this effect will cut your Weapon skills in half. Rinse and repeat.

Rdm and blm: gravity and bind the wivre before they wake up to keep them from running after you or the pld this will make kiting more difficult.

after you have killed the wivre comes the easy part. line up in front of the boss and take him to 74% every 25% he will 2 hour invincible and spam some attack that does huge dmg when he uses it the pld should run one way and the DD run another so the pld knows who has hate. DD do not need /nin for this fight however /sam or sam is helpful for the wivre kills. the RDM must keep the boss dispelled through the fight. put dia III on it when fighting and bio II/III on it during the initial kite.

    Tips:
don't get over anxious this is a 10-15 min fight and will last longer if someone dies. do not over nuke or do anything to take to much hate from the pld if the mob goes invisible while you have hate you will be hit by 3k instantly. the key to this fight is managing the mobs in the beginning. If pld dies have a DD kite the mob all is not lost remember you have 30 min.

    Meriphataud Mountains (S) (I-6)
Need a real good RDM because he will be the only one sleeping everything

DD DD DD RDM/BLM WHM/BLM BRD all DD with shadows of course

1 DD pop and run while WHM ES sleepga, and the popper go for Nuu Yagudo and solo it, a NIN is good for this

other 2 DD kill Ochre x2 > kill Nuu. in the event that Nuu call more Ochre, DD go to them. Repeat until Nuu dies. Stale is easy to sleep so dont worry about thr RDM(hence i stated good rdm)

After Nuu is down, DD go to Stale x2, while the popper DD goes for Yii. After 2 stale dies, DD go to Yii. In the event that Yii cast new Stales, you can choose to send the 2 DD to kill, or fuck it and sleep them and just kill Yii. Both yagudos are made of paper, but have fairly high evasion. Sushi or pizza is recommended for dual yields
RDM/BLM's extra sleepga will help alot here

    1 PLD/NIN (RDM/NIN Works too)
    2 DRK/NIN (NIN/DRK Works too ^^)
    2 DD/nin
    1 Healer

BRD or COR not Required, the mobs are fairly Weak and un-evasive to a good DD.

Fight Against 6 Quadavs. First names unimportant, They are Spatespurge, Wrathstorm, Winterkill, Tremor(Something), Grimwind and Slashburner.

Have PLD(Or the RDM/NIN, Whoever is kiting) Pop and Kite Mobs will DD Kill them 1 by 1, During the first 1 Kill they Will only use Teir IV Nukes and Teir 1 AM, After the 2nd one Dies they will begin to use AM2, after the 3rd Dies they will Begin using Teir III -aga Spells. Once the 4th one dies they will begin using Unique to them Debuffs or Buffs. PLD should be using Flash as much as possible While they're in "Tier I and AM" Form while kiting, since they tend to turn on Party members throughout the fight. DRK/NIN or NIN/DRK work well for this fight because all mobs are Stun-able and that becomes Extremely important After 3 Quadavs die, at this point mobs will begin to cast Teir III -Aga Spells.

All DD Should be /NIN, No exceptions, Mages Should also Consider having Blink up at ALL Times, This is because the Quadavs sometimes lose interest in the kiter and nuke Random People (Jump from Dragoon seems to generate hate on the quadavs, for instance). DD Need to be able to tank effectively, or at least bounce hate Effectively. Mobs die in about 1-2 Minutes with the right amount of Power, And often stop to cast Ancient Magic, making Blink tanking rather easy.

You should kill them in the following Order:

Spatespurge: Casts Water Type Spells (Casts Poisonga if Left alive After 4 Kills)
Winterkill: Casts Ice Type Spells (Casts Paralyga if Left alive After 4 Kills)
Tremor...: Casts Earth Type Spells (uses Slowga if left Alive after 4 kills)
Grimwin: Casts Wind Type Spells (Uses Graviga if Left Alive after 4 Kills)
SlashBurner: Casts Fire Type Spells (Casts Dispelga if Left alive After 4 Kills)
WrathStorm: Casts Thunder Type Spells (Spams Hastega if left Alive After 4 kills)

Save Wrathstorm for last as He Often prioritized Hastega -EVEN IF HE ALREADY HAS HASTE ON HIMSELF-, Making him Laughably Easy to kite during the Final Stages.

A Note to Kiters: The Arena Stretches just Beyond the Brick Wall to the Left of the Pixie, But the Right Brick Wall is "Out of Bounds" About halfway through. If you stand at the far end of the Left Brick Wall the Quadavs will Terrain weird and take a -long- way to get to you, very effective in buy a few second while kiting to recast shadows. After the Third Kill they Will no Longer cast AM1, only Teir IV and AMII, after the 4th Quadav dies the ones alive will only cast Teir III -aga and their Unique Spells.

    Sauromugue Champaign (S)

    Beaucedine Glacier (S) (H-10)

    Setup:
    RDM/NIN
    RDM/NIN
    RDM/NIN
    WHM
    SAM/WAR
    SAM/WAR

Fight is against 4 Gargoyle mobs. They are all RDM/DRKs(?), as in they all cast Enfeebles like Graviga, Silencega, Bind, Stun. They can also use Blood Weapon. It seems they sync these Blood Weapons with a partner and maybe all 4 if they are in range of one another.

The area is a little nitch in Beaucedine Glacier down at the lake where the Orc NM's are in Dynamis. The area is JUST big enough you can pick all 4 of them apart. The danger of them being close together is they will sync TP moves, especially one called "Shadow Burst" which is about 800 damage a piece. It also gives Curse. Instant wipe if you get hit with all 4, basically. I took about 600 per Shadow Burst on RDM, melee took 800. Still, we all died haha. So keep them apart so you don't get hit by more than one. They attack hard and fast and CANNOT be slept, gravitied, binded, stunned or slowed. A NIN did manage to blind it with Kurayami, however.

They will turn into Statues and you can't hurt them AT ALL during this. Not even DoT's work. They will randomly go into Statue mode and stay like that for an indefinite period of time. To give you an idea of how long some stay in Statue mode - We had 1 melee try to solo one a piece. A SAM had theirs to 20% while another DD wasn't even past 90% because of Statue mode. They will also use "Bloody Claw" which one shotted a NIN from full HP and with 2 shadows up. They use Triumphant Roar or whatever it is. The attack boost cannot be dispelled by a RDM. Finale or Dark Shot was not tried. Lastly, they like to sync Terror Eye, which is gaze-type terror. Easy to avoid by just turning around as it readies it.

After they return to their normal mode, they seem to have random hate or at LEAST hate reset on the person that last touched it. Most of the melee were jobs that couldn't get hate easily after it was lost (SAM/NIN, MNK/NIN, BLU/NIN, NIN/WAR was what we had). RDM/NIN can quickly reclaim hate with Blind/Dispel and hold easily.

Each RDM/NIN hold a different one (Try to make it so the WHM doesn't cure any RDM, if nobody else has hate on the Gargoyle, they won't randomly run away after statue mode) whilst the 2 SAM's Seigan tank one of them with the WHM supporting them. As long as the one the SAM's are fighting doesnt go into Statue mode full time, it should get taken out pretty quickly.

After first one goes down, the SAMs head to assist one of the RDMs. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THEM SEPARATED. Eating even 2 synced Shadow Bursts will wipe you pretty quickly. Once 2 go down, it should be very easy.

    Xarcabard (S) (J-8)
2 PLD, 2 Ranged attackers (Blu best but rngs and even sams can work) 2 healers.

One PLD kites either of the taurus and one holds near pop, the 2 DDs work on Killing the held one, at 30% hold it wait for a mighty strikes and PLD sentinal and DDs kill it asap. Under 30% spammed Lethal Triclip and synced this can be lethal(They sync moves so if the other is in a bbad spot could see your party wiped). Once one is dead the other gains a boost (seems to gain as the HP between the two gets lower) Repeat the same tactic with the next.

Pattern is after it Mighty strikes will Triclip spam, easy to avoid just let it ready it then move, Kite during this stage. At the end of 2h mode will Mortal Ray for Hate reset, during 2h mode is a good time for DDs to get hate.

lol yeah graub was the only one i could find a strat for i have one for Xarcabard but it involves the use of a rdm 2 hour and it is stupid to base a strat on the use of a specific jobs 2 hour, for these "easyer" quests.

The last spot can either be another DD or a COR. We had a COR.

Stun is very important for this, hence the 2 DRKs. BLU Head Butt stun doesn't proc all the time, but if you do decide to bring a BLU (They really do kill much slower, I suggest just not bringing one) have them use Temporal Shift for stunning purposes.

The fight is against 6 Quadavs. They are all BLM's and each have a corresponding element. The RDM/NIN or PLD/NIN NEEDS to pop them so they can super tank. All you need to do is kite them around the area that is available. I assure you, it's large enough to do so rather easily. Use the 2 stone walls as your guide. Pretty much anywhere outside these stone walls is too far.

The kiter should have no problems. The turtles will only stop and cast. Before the first three are killed, they will all cast Tier IV, Ancient Magic and Ancient Magic II. The only time they will attempt to melee is if the kiter goes in melee range of one of them. Like most BLM mobs, they will come to melee range only after about 30% damage is done to them.

As a RDM/NIN kiter, I kept Bio 3 and Poison 2 on Slashburner (The one we kept fighting last) and by the time the melee were ready to fight him, he was close to 70% HP. Not really necessary, but can save you a little time (Not like you'll need it).

During some of the fights, some of the turtles would lose aggro on the kiter and just target a seemingly random party member to nuke. We aren't exactly sure what caused this but to be safe, make sure nobody else is casting on the kiter. The kiter should be able to fully support themselves, especially if its a RDM.

You'll want to have the DD enough all the DARK based mobs first. The killing order should be similar to this.

Spatesurge (Water) -> Tremorcrag (Earth) -> Winterkill (Ice)

After the first three are dead, the last three will begin to cast -ga3 and enfeeblega's. It is recommend you kill the Dark based mobs because their enfeeblega's are much more annoying (Poisonga, Slowga and Paralyga).

However, if you kill them OUT of order (Meaning going from a dark based mob to a light based one) you may be in for trouble. Such as killing Spatesurge then attacking Grimewind, it'll trip their "-ga3 mode" and you'll have to deal with 5 spamming AoE turtles, instead of 3.

The last three can be killed in any order. We chose to do Grimewind first so the kiter wouldn't have to risk getting Gravitied. Have the 2 DRK's alternate stuns on ga3 and enfeeblega. With a BRD and COR, they go down at a decent pace. Wrathstorm and Slashburner are the remaining two, in case you want to know their names.

    A word on Meriphataud:

Songs do carry over to pets meaning Minuet buffs that yagudos scorpions, Minne buffs defense, Dirge makes hate extremely easy to lose, Carols give the scorpion the corresponding en-spell effect etc etc.

Dispel is highly advised to make this easier to deal with.

    On Rolanberry (S)

Slashburner is Dispelga and Spatesurge is Poisonga iirc

Except you capitalize random letters throughout your paragraphs.

And you basically said the exact same thing I did.

I know, it was a joke, i didn't really mean mine was better, in fact yours was very well done, and both are wonderful and correct strategies that will work indefinitely with a good group of organized people.

But you know, overreacting on a light hearted joke and then insulting my typing is cool too, and totally called for.

Does Head butt stun work well? I own Gigas in Limbus with Head butt.

Never bring a blu along since we really need to zerg down the first gigas. The faster the first gigas die, the more chance of your mages stay alive from sleeping adds since they can resist/build resist. I also notice that with one gigas alive, only 2/4 bombs pop once per 3min ish after they are killed. This strat might work with other fights that contain 2 monsters and their adds.
