Bueller, bueller?
It is still Korean only, so information is hard to find. I haven't been following it for awhile. Also the first result on google for "Continent of the Ninth wikipedia" is this thread, what the fuck lol.

There were three continents the last I played. I just realized they will probably go up to 9 lol.
Thanks for reminding me how much I miss this game.
Damn them and their new verification system and needing a Korean cell number.
NHN needs to bring this over along with Tera...
It took awhile, but my K-SS# and phone are finally both in working order. C9 client is downloading now, and I got tomorrow (Monday) evening off from my tutoring job. Hopefully I can spend a bit of time tomorrow playing around with it.
Now that's just a mean bump.
mwahaha
EDIT: To be less mean, I'll be sure to update on changes that are in place now from when people on here were playing and posting a few months ago. Also, my Korean is improving rapidly (thanks 5 hours of Korean class per day + Korean roommate) so I can try to translate any interesting news for you guys.
For those of you that had played this last year/early this year, were there only 3 starting classes at the time? All the info I can find when I search in English is about Fighter, Hunter, and Shaman. When I logged in today I made myself a Witchblade. Also, the game is down to just 2 servers now.
EDIT: I can't seem to find where my screenshots ended up, but randomly dropping a copy+paste into MS Paint came up with this one:
Looks like some parts of the interface have changed a bit from the screenshots that people posted earlier in this thread, mainly the info that pops up when you clear a dungeon. It's all pretty straightforward, except the 3rd spot in the top row of the Bonus category appears to be Craftsman. I'm not sure I'm translating that correctly or not.
Yeah, Witchblade wasn't around when I played
So a couple things that I think may be different from when you had played:
1) Master difficulty for each stage now requires you to be in a party to enter. 4-person minimum
2) Nightmare difficulty has been added to dungeons with a level suggestion of 52 for the starting areas.
3) Witchblade has been added, obviously.
4) There are daily and weekly quests available from a bulletin board, each rewards you with a box that randomly gives you 1-5 items, one of which can be a stack of gold. This one may not be new, but the interface for the quests is confusing enough that I figured if no one took screenshots of it before then it may not have been around.
5) This probably was around, but I didn't see anyone mention it in this thread. You get a letter grade in each difficulty of each dungeon based upon your performance. When you repeat a dungeon, you start off with your most recent grade and build off that. I'm not sure what the point is since nothing changed when I boosted the pre-Master difficulties of Goblin Forest to A+
Due to class I haven't had a ton of time to dump into this yet. My Witchblade is almost level 9, and I will post up some info about the different specializations when I hit 10.
The fuck are you using? A keyblade?
And yeah, I don't remember witchblade. That's the female twin sword user or whatever yeah?
Yeah, Witchblade uses a sword + dagger combo, with the dagger design being the goofy keyblade thing. Most of their skills so far focus on being extremely mobile to avoid damage, or to continue juggles. When I log on tomorrow night I will take some better character screenshots. Most of my screens so far are just shots of item descriptions so that I can try to translate them and figure out what's going on.
Ahh, okay. Looks nifty.
Witchblade at level 10 turns into Elite Witchblade (엘리트 위치블레이드). The next class change options are are 25, and the two options are Slayer (슬레이어) and Warden (워든). I haven't gotten around to translating the the descriptions of those two yet. Elite Witchblade gets a little meter under her picture, which you can see below, that fills up as you deal and receive damage. When it is full, you'll get a message saying that you are at Max Fury. Get surrounded by a few enemies, hit both mouse buttons, and go nuts. It gives five bonuses for about 90 seconds. They were attack speed+, phys. attack power+, magic attack power+, movement speed+, and one other icon that I haven't gotten a chance to look at yet. The last shot is the wacky visual effect that covers your character while in Max Fury mode. Incoming screens:
Spoiler: show
Sure do have a mighty fuckable character there, Viq. I'm not sure if I'm weirded out or what.
It's the only chance I have to see a white girl around here -_-
So, turns out Witchblade gets a little buddy at level 12. The little guy with the club is summonable. The cooldown is a few minutes, but he's a tank and you can combo with him. Also at level 12 is the new armor you can see in this shot, which I'm sure Aki will approve of. There was a system message while I was playing today that I didn't catch all of, but it mentioned that they are adding new class change options soon. They teased Shadow as a class branch for Hunters. I'll spend some time exploring Hangame's site this weekend to see if I can find a way to bypass the cellphone approval system for a couple of you guys, or to see if I can get multiple accounts linked to my phone# somehow.
Spoiler: show
EDIT: I actually just had some spare time to poke around on Hangame's site. I realized that naver lets you make a "foreigner abroad" account that requires neither KSSN nor a cellphone. If you try to make a Hangame account with that type of Naver name then it requires you to make a seperate Hangame account instead of just pulling the Naver info and linking that to Hangame. Hangame doesn't allow you to make that Hangame-specific account without a KSSN + phone. tl;dr sorry >_<
