James Cameron announced at the Comic-Con Avatar Panel that August 21st will be 'Avatar Day'. On this day the trailer for the film will be released in all theatrical formats. Selected IMAX and digital 3D cinemas around the world will be screening, free of charge, a 16 minute preview of the film created by Cameron.

Airbender movie is being directed by M. Night Shymalan (or however the fuck you spell his name). It will probably be terrible. This on the other hand, looks great.

The hype on this movie is approaching ridiculous. That being said, I really hope it lives up to it, I'm pretty excited for this.

From the teaser I'd say the hype is too much, but I guess we'll see. I don't know if i'd be into the movie, I might need to see the 15min preview to find out.

There is just..... too much cgi, I hate how cartoony and videogamey things are getting. Things just look so fake and terrible. Although I know at the same time that it's hard to put out a good movie anymore without those things cause you just cant get the same effects, and without them you pretty much just have comedy's and romances only with the occasional bruce willis blowing up a helicopter.

The hype might have something to do with the budget. Currently the most spent on a movie, Cameron and his producers have hyped this movie beyond belief. Like Xavier and Boyiee, I just hope the hype isn't the second thing they overpaid.
