Almighty Apkallu Question

Lately I have been spending my time riding the Silver Sea route to Al Zahbi. Its something I just do for fun while working on other stuff in RL. I have always been interested in Almighty Apkallu and regardless if I have the ability to kill him or not I thought it would be fun to try and Screenshot him.

Now seeing as how this NM hasn't really been talked about in awhile. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if anyone has any advice or suggestions on how to actually get him to spawn. I'm not really expecting anything to really come out of this but seeing as how I had no idea people figured out how to lock AV's 2 hour's until just the other day, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Also knowing his abilitys from the few times he has been seen. Does anyone think a rdm/nin could solo him? Would the time limit on the boat be to harsh? Would I be better off on another job for even a remote chance of being able to solo him? I appreciate any feedback people are willing to give with what little information is available on this NM.

This is all info the community has at the moment. Seeing from the posts in 1st thread it doesn't seem to be soloable because of time issues.

Best bet is to arm yourself with a kakkenclub (and hope it doesn't counter you too much) and go DRK, or go SAM and meditate where possible with 2 hour up and a TP wing in your inventory to take it down ASAP, leave no chances. If you want to be ultimately safe, elixirs and such. Good luck ^____________^
