Can’t believe his Kickstarter is over 4m
It hit 4 mil in like the first 12 hours. It’s up to 5 now, with 27 days left.
It probably won’t increase too much now, though. Most the people who’d spend the kind of money on this are the super fans who would instantly jump on it. Still, Jesus fuck indeed.
Just a reminder that the latest Dresden files book came out today. You might want to wait until September when the next part comes out though as it ends on a cliffhanger.
I typically wait for the paperback releases for Dresden files for conformity’s sake. I’ll probably pick these 2 next two up on ebook though earlier than that. Rereading the series right now. Just finished White Night and took a break to read A Little Bit of Hatred. Once I get through the rest of the series I’ll see how long a wait for the paperback.
Well that explains the long gap between books, it was two to dump at once.
In the mean time, I wasn't paying attention, and it seems Neal Stephenson had a book come out last year, a continuation of REAMDE and Cryptonomicon.
Damn, chapter 13.
The author of Mother of Learning has put 4 candidates for their next work up on their patreon.

Also, I finished Stephenson's Fall; or, Dodge in Hell. I think it's his weakest work, and I've read The Big U (though I have not read D.O.D.O.). If you did not like Reamde and Seveneves, you're not going to like this one.
The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas author accidentally included Breath of the Wild recipes in his new book.

Went into a Barnes and Noble today and saw they actually separated fantasy and sci fi genres
Starting Brian McClellan's Sins of the Empire trilogy. I really liked his Powder Mage trilogy so looking forward to this.
I have honestly never laughed so hard at a book in my entire life. I had to stop at one point because my stomach hurt and my eyes were tearing. It's a gem.
Reminder that the new Dresden files book (Battle Grounds) came out.

Must be the Anti-Spiral.
For you 40k fans, the Fabius Bile series by Josh Reynolds is better than it has any right to be. Check 'em out.
