my understanding is that of her two series the balance of that one is like 80/20 fantasy to 'romance', while the other series is much more 'romance' centric

i read all of the twilight books in college to get closer to a girl who treated me like a gay bff, smh
The real question based on my understanding of her other series is...how much dragon smut is there?
There are dragons in "Throne of Glass", but no dragon smut. All the romantic story lines are between humans and or faes if that's your jam. I should maybe also clarify there isn't a lot of romance in the series (I would even say it's more like 85/15 fantasy to romance), but I felt like there was only 1 genuine adult relationship in the whole series. The rest all felt like they based on well tread tropes and/or written by a prepubescent author and just not that interesting.
the impression I got (someone was talking about her other series and I googled it) is that Throne is more akin to Hunger Games, the Court of Whatever is more like Twilight. Again, idk how accurate that is, just the sense I got from briefly looking into it
I appreciate the answers but I don't plan to read either series. I was just looking for an excuse to write dragon smut in a post.
fair
Really only the first book in that series is like Hunger Games. The rest is all pretty standard high fantasy, but pretty firmly in the YA category. I'm also in the "I read these books for my wife" camp, and I enjoyed the Throne of Glass series. It's not the best series you're ever going to read, but still an enjoyable read.
That being said I did it enjoy it much more than her ACOTAR series, which is definitely more smutty romance/fantasy which is fine, but it just gets pretty repetitive. I couldn't get into her third series at all, as it's more modern fantasy and less high fantasy which just isn't my vibe.
I will say that the "Kings Dark Tidings" series that Gustave mentioned is one of my go to series. Again not the best thing you're ever going to read, but I really enjoy it.
Hunger Games remains the best YA fiction of that era where it was dominant, can't blame em
Throne of Glass is pretty awful. I love my wife so I soldier on. Two done so far, a bunch to go.

Brando Sando swinging his weight around against Amazon. Authors are going to get better rates later this year on Audible sales/credit redemptions. Not exactly what he wanted but it's a vast improvement over the high end 40% (Audible exclusive, authors with large readership) to 25% author cut per audiobook/credit redeemed.
