About book 8 the books stop being good and just become needlessly convoluted. He seems to stretch shit out for the sole purpose of making more books. Once he dies and Brandon Sanderson picks them up, they seem to have a purpose again and started to get interesting once more. I think that's book 11 or 12.

Someone recommend me a new fantasy series to read. Trying to find something else until Inheritance comes out.

I just finished the Dark Tower series by King. Great books but fuck Steven King! Learn how to write less filler and have your climax be more than 5 pages.

Needed a 1 shot type book to fill about a weeks' worth of time before DWD came out and so I just finished up Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. Fantastic read.

That's good to hear, I plan to read that after reading Elantris. And after having just finished the first book in the Stormlight Archive I can say that pretty much all this guys stuff is very good.

Parents got me a kindle for my birthday so I started reading again. Finished reading The Kite Runner, and Pathfinder and now I am reading "Your Inner Fish: A jou8rney into the 3.5 billion year history of the human body" by Neil Shubin (Suggested reading by Miz). I think next I am going to read some Christopher Moore books and Orwell's 1982.

The kindle is awesome btw. So nice to be able to carry so many books with you and play scrabble and have a dictionary and the internet.

In my opinion Path of Daggers(8) and Crossroads of Twilight(10) were the only ones I didn't really like on my first read. Winter's Heart(9) was enjoyable(well, big parts of it. Fuck Elayne.) and Knife of Dreams(11) had a lot of great stuff in it that was needed to pull the story back together for The Gathering Storm(12(Sanderson's first)).

Finished A Dance with Dragons so I get to go back to bitching about GRRM being a slowww writer.

Currently reading March In Country by E. E. Knight. It's part of the Vampire Earth series. Series is starting to drag on like the Wheel of Time.

I honestly don't remember it since I read them all really quick so it's one big blur. I didn't like from when perrin left Rand to go talk to a queen or something then Faile got kidnapped, then that whole 2 book long bullshit it took to get her back. It just seemed that everything in that period was pointless. I only started enjoying it again with The Gathering Storm.

finished the first 4 books of Song of Ice and Fire, working on Dance with Dragons. After that, I think I am going to read the first of the Harry Hole series. My friend said it was good.

DWD now. Finish Choke after that and maybe squeeze in The Wise Man's Fear before the new Dresden Files book comes out on the 26th.

Just finished up The Heroes, and I must say it was the first time I was disappointed in Abercrombie. It turned out to be a completely pointless book, 600 pages of nothing happening. Deeper meaning and other such bullshit be fucked.

Now I'm just hoping that GRRM won't disappoint, and then to wait for The Republic of Thieves.

Been reading "Those Guys Have All the Fun". It's fascinating, but then again I love all the behind the scenes stuff. It's just cool to see how it all came together for ESPN.

Yesterday I read "John Dies At the End", by 'David Wong' (the pseudonym of the Cracked.com editor in chief), it sounded intriguing and it actually turned out to be pretty damn good. Decent amount of twists and suspense and a ton of great humor.
