Wow, I forgot about this game. I'm supposed to be getting my KSSN (Korean Social Security Number) by Friday this week, so if there's a Korean beta sign-up then I'll be trying to get in.

I tried to sign up for the Korean beta, but the last question on the application form asks for an essay about why they should let me into the beta. My Korean is still too weak for that >_<

Korean open beta has to be soon. If hopes/rumors are true, GStar 2010 will showcase the obt or possible launch build of Tera for Korea. Maybe for OB you wont have to fill out all that extra information.

As long as the encounters are challenging and it doesn't play like a bad action game, I think this may be a great mmo.

I'm pretty skeptical of this game, being Korean and all, and what with all the other options we'll have so i'm interested to hear.

I think thats a valid concern, but I wouldnt invest in that idea too much. Look at games like WAR or Conan, people had high hopes for them and they really didnt deliver. A.P.B. is already offline (it was a European made game I think?) Anyway, the origin of a game these days Isnt that big of a deal I think but doing research on them is important. I was interested in AION back in the day but after really looking into the gameplay aspects of the game I came to realize it wasnt going to be what I was looking for.

If they run open beta right, a lot of people will get a chance to play and see for themselves what the game is like.
