Ha, that calculation ends up being way off for me.

I'm 30.5" waist, but 37" hip... my ass is too big.

I don't know how the fuck you manage to bike in all of that. I bike in a tank top and shorts and can't get anywhere w/o dripping in sweat.

All black, too. You have balls.

You have a speedometer on your bike? I wanted to know your average pace.

I don't, but on my brothers Iphone App on yesterdays ride said we was averaging 12mph and top speed of 32mph downhill.

burning off 470 calories on a 14 mile trail.

Straight trail or is that including stop lights/signs/other forms of stopping?

I rly do push myself. I get exhausted riding because I don't like seeing the speedometer drop under 16 mph, which is usually where it sits because I do squats/dead lifts x3 a week now. When I only did them twice a week, on a fresh day, I could keep it from dipping under 18, doing usually 18-20. If I know the light is about to change, and trying to make a desperation run not to have to stop, I can get it up to 26-28.

yes stop lights/signs/other forms of stopping was there. I also do deadlifts/squats, but the burning from my quads ascending was nothing i ever felt before!

Mmm. Sexy bike. I need to buy a bike soon... Didn't bring my old bike when I moved to Seattle. @Kuwait - Do you go on the burke-gilman trail a lot? I want to bike along that trail frequently when I get a bike (which I hope is soon!)

Measuring tape with pants off. If it's my pant size then I'm wearing 31-32.

Weiing, i have not got a chance to but i hear the trail has a very nice scenery. So far i've only gone to the Edmonds / Richmand beach trail; which is near my house. I can just ride from my house to the trail, and not worry about parking the car.

Does something like a Hershey's Milk Chocolate bar have bad stuff in it? Or is pure chocolate just fine? (and is that product pure chocolate, I looked on the hershey site but saw no ingredient list)

I don't want to bake pumpkin brownies anytime I want chocolate, as is brownies hardly last 24 hours in this house to begin with.

@Kuwait - oh I see. Good to know.

@Eaglestrike/Ladyofhonor: Hershey's Milk chocolate may have "bad stuff" in it... It's definitely not pure chocolate. Pure chocolate is basically cacao or a chocolate bar with a high cacao %. This means... dark chocolate. But you may not like dark chocolate. There are better milk chocolates though, like those from Lindt, which is an inexpensive brand. Chocolate is my weak spot, but I also don't like milk chocolate. I go for dark..usually 74-75%; however, I'm trying to buy 80-90% cacao chocolate because it's so bitter that I can only eat a little at a time.. Whereas with 75% chocolate, I can keep eating it until it's all gone in 5 minutes. For awhile I would just eat protein bars (like Think Thin) to get my chocolate fix...

New look! Bike shorts really make a difference when riding long distance. The Gel padding really helped ease the pain from yesterdays ride.

Dark Chocolate is just fine, I'll try to get some of that. I get to go shopping tomorrow so I get to buy whatever I want/can remember to buy.

Crunches/jogging tonight, gym in the morning.

I hate doing crunches. I do them holding a 25 lb plate @.@, 3 sets of 120. Shit kills me.

  19. #6339

I hate crunches as well, but I love them planks and leg raises.

  20. #6340

crunches end up straining my neck pretty quickly. prefer to up either the angle im doing sit-ups on the decline machine (I just do em as high of an angle as possible, shit kills you quick) and/or add more weight. depends what I feel like doing. plus every other workout I do at least a couple sets of my hardcore abs routine which is followed by a 2-2:30 plank. After doing 2:30 right after a workout plus ab routine I feel like I can conquer the world and fuck for days. Best feeling ever.
