Thanks, and yeah my legs have always been pretty good just from soccer... though I mostly tunnel-visioned for progress on the rest of my body in strength training. Quick pic:
A big part to me starting strength training was because I was so disproportionate, with big'ol legs and a tiny upper body. D:
My back improved a lot, and yeah I've mostly been focusing on wider-grip exercises as well, which is where I think most of the thickness came from.
I'm still trying to figure out exactly how big I want to be, tough to decide. I really enjoy the routines and gains now. Thanks for the advice.
Hm, yeah... I've noticed my shoulders have been dominating a lot of my upper body movements too. Had no idea why. My overhead press and incline bench are about the same, and both aren't too far behind my flat bench (which certainly doesn't seem common at all?). I'll try out the advice to counter that, thanks. Although I have to admit I like having bigger shoulders.
But yeah, now that the upper body has come along well next round I'm definitely planning to focus more on squats.
And hey, you're even more awesome man! The transformation you've made is unmatched to anyone I know.
