Why didn't they show a lot of the characters is what worries me. Game seems like it's pretty far into development so showing the other character designs shouldn't be a problem unless they messed with the story-line.

edit: nevermind, I'm retarded. That character model has brown hair and I'm really not sure who the hell that's supposed to be.

Was trying to find a picture of the scientist that fixes up your ship and used wrenches.. figured that might be as logical as any character to use a hookshot, but not sure if any of these are him (her? been a long time).

game looks decent to me >_> Guy certainly has changed a lot...

hearing a revised version of the forgotten turret brought back memories of this game, hah I can't wait but where is Dekar and Dual Blade D: kinda worried about that, all tho I am interested as to how they are going to branch off of the story of Lufia 2.

It looks like Dekar is Hydekar now or whatever. I can only imagine that is about as close as we'll get to him. I just hope he acts the same.

So long as they retain the catchy boss fight songs, I'm happy. Lufia had some really great tunes.

Pretty sure Hydekar was his name in the japanese version of the original wasn't it?

Also, I'm convinced this is going to be a re-telling of the Lufia storyline. It really doesn't look like a remake at all. But I guess we'll find out.

holy fucking shit, I kid you not, I JUST went to gamefaqs to see if there was any info on this game, right after I posted on Xenoblade (I have no idea why, but it made me think of this)

that is just... weird.

anyway, good to know! hopefully it's as good as the original.

Natsume published the SNES one so its not really surprising.

Maybe once they publish this, they'll stop with harvest moon and move on, seriously ... if you've played one you've played them all, hardly anything changes in those games, I never understood why a few of my friends were so obsessed with them and had to buy the new one as soon as it came out.

Looks like a completely different game but with the same characters. I hope they keep the Lufia II storyline, because that was one of the best stories I've ever seen in any video game.

Ive been looking to get into older RPG game series so I look forward to this. Is there a remake of the original Lufia or am I gonna have to snes emulator that?
