Ladies and gentlemen! At long last, the winning entries for the Shantotto Fan Art Contest have been decided! The staggering amount of entries and the love that evidently went into each are a testament to the good doctor's enduring popularity, and this made the task of selecting winners that much more difficult for the judges. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to join in this celebration of one of Vana'diel's most distinguished citizens.

My favourites are Nyasu, Narit, Reion, Otake, Kongu, Kupipi (I thought it was Pikko) and ... can't quote anymore.
There're too many good entries this year, Shantotto must be a truly inspiring theme!

First prize is indeed weel made, but it lacks originality.
Aside from the heavy SFX use, the character feels like just another anime chick with magical powers. Tarutarus have a very definied and original visage, chubby with black nose and so on, while this "Shantotto" only retains the same haircut of the original.

It's weird SE decided to make this art the winner, as their taste is usually a bit more toward illustrations/arts than comic books.
