    There was a documentary on BBC of this guy (I'll try find out who it was - there'll likely be a video on youtube) who hand reared cheetah cubs abandoned by their mother, then followed them once they'd been set free. He used to snooze with them under a tree during the hot mid day sun. It's very difficult to watch something like that and not feel happy.
