TParty
Spellcast
Recast (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Yarnball
Those 4 are the bare minimum
Other ones would be like
StatusTimer
LightLuggage
TimeStamp (Say what you will, I love this plugin)

I still don't understand. Unless it's to get around crashes on W7 or whatever where you're experiencing bad crashes/glitches, why are people saying the bare minimum would be less than what 3.4 has to offer?
I suppose to contribute:
Spellcast
Recast
Timestamp
Yarnball
Tickle
recast
distance
light luggage
chat mon
silence
status timer
Tparty
yarnball would be nice to have
TParty
Distance
Recast
LightLuggage
TimeStamp
Yarnball
Though not absolutely necessary I'd also be very happy to see BlinkMeNot. That's been a lifesaver for me, literally as I'm a main whm.
I'm sure we can all say DrawDistance is important for non/plugin whores...
Spellcast
Tparty
logger
cancel
recast
ll
silence
yarnball
timestamp
ime
tickle
precognition
I personally will not even consider upgrading without all of those. Blinkmenot, would be nice, but i could manage without it.
A little off-topic, but also on topic. I never bothered upgrading from 3.3 to 3.4 because I read it may mess up some of my macros. I know it's an easy fix or whatever but why create work for myself if I don't need to. So I guess a pre-req other than tparty, LL, Distance, recast, yarnball, timestamp, priority, G15binder, silence, and blinkmenot would be not changing macro language whether be it from 3.3 or 3.4. If I'm completely off on the macro thing from 3.3>3.4 then I'm an idiot, but the point still stands about upgrading to 4.
Hmm, my list:
tparty
recast
distance
lightluggage
spellcast
yarnball
Spellcast
Recast
TParty
Silence
G15 Binder
Cancel
Distance
Nice but not key
DrawDistance
Statustimer
Logger
Timestamp
For me it would be....
Recast
TPParty
Timestamp
Chatmon
ExpWatch
Distance
I hate you all!
For me:
recast
distance
tparty
although I got so used to playing without them, that's what I'd like at the minimum.
Yarnball
Tickle
Yarnlog
Recast
Timestamp
Spellcast
Blinkmenot
Distance
Expwatch
LightLuggage
Recast
Yarnball
Silence
Cancel
Timestamp
That's what I'd need to make the switch, otherwise it'd just be a downgrade to me.
A lot of functionality in the plugins for v4 are almost obsolete. Many aren't correctly maintained. But yes, the functionality from 3.4 should be there in v4 EVENTUALLY. But I'm looking for what people ACTUALLY WANT.
Also, what you're missing is stability, compatibility and performance. Also additional features. That's what you get with v4 by default. It's like upgrading from XP to Win7. You may not get ALL your programs to work from XP, but you get an amazing OS and probably realize the programs that weren't maintained from XP to Win7 probably are more trouble than their worth anyways
v4 does not crash when shutting down (at least on windows 7 and XP. Haven't tested much on Vista.) ^^
This is likely, especially if Starhawk is able to help out a bit more, but not a super high priority right now.
Chatmon is pretty easy to implement from v3, I plan on doing chat-based plugins this week if all goes well.
Spellcast is amazing, but as of now Aikar has no plans to port it to v4 and honestly, spellcast itself is probably about as much work as all the other plugins combined. I plan on implementing spellcast-like functionality in the final version, but sadly it's likely the last plugin to be ported over 100%. (Some early v4 spellcast code is actually in the alpha from Azaril)
This is amazing.
Gonna help port yarnball? :D
must have:
IME for typing japanese
nice to have:
Spellcast
Recast
Distance
