I was not the only one that said something about it though.

Two others agreed, but I personally can not rule out lag.

With lag, you can easily get charmed at 17-20 yalm, if it was bigger than that, maybe they broke it again.

Why would playonline maintenance have broken SSR? No changes were made to the game, and unless I'm mistaken (I didn't log out at any NM spawns today so can't be certain), the game servers weren't even taken down.

wtf is this spam section? seriously 10 posts of the same bullshit joke isn't anything remotely contributing other than making us read through more spam. Every topic is getting like that now and its getting rather annoying. Though I guess there really isn't much to discuss anymore with this game being in the decline and mods have most likely come to terms with that.

just out of curiousity, does anyone have the approx range with distance loaded? or is that stuff not working now? lol. that thing has charmed my sam from a million miles away but it only seemed that way because i lagged lol

I would say 10 for Brain jack and 12 for the rest. I'm pretty sure it's slightly shorter than other AoE, since it will use them instead of BJ when you're barely out of range.

12 for the rest? All normal chariot AoE's are 10.

My group did SSR on Sunday, I personally got brain jacked from 14.x' and my brd was 16.8' away and got jacked.

The same reason hate on Tiamat and other mobs is broken? No one knows. And yes, timers did reset since FFXI was unavailable.

The only difference I've noticed is that the servers are extraordinarily shitty now and the mob isn't necessarily the distance from you it's showing (more obvious with fast moving mobs, ex. Jailer of Faith, was doing it with a friend and it would, at some points (actually fairly often..), just stop for no reason then catch up as if it was moving normally). Clearly a server downgrade. ^-^
