Lyft Sainti-
1/2 on the drop from the Gnole NM.
Appears to give +4 attack with 6 people in the party.
Im thinking the crap with just BS stats like "attack+4" Probably have a hidden stat like say, Accuracy, Evasion, Automaton Accuracy/Attack+, Critical Hit Rate, Etc etc.
About the Lyft Sainti, so far I've only tested it in Dynamis-Jeuno
I have a pretty decent Howling Fists build and was averaging about 850-900 on the mobs there.
Asuran Fists were about 550-650 landing all hits.
Anyone happen to have done a simple test with the hexagun to see if the damage is dependant on the number of players at all? As it stands it seems like far too difficult a gun to obtain to not be an upgrade over what we already have.
Harleym, Get the gun and parse 100 shots with 6 people in party, and again with another gun. I will yell at you for being dumb later on vent. Jesus.
need to parse more then just 1 shot per member, wont get an average, you will only get incomplete data to make an assumption.
for anything other than +dmg ya.
But he's looking if the damage increases for each additional party member, so the easiest way to do this is use Quickdraw, and all you need is 1 shot per party member(baring any resists) to determine any damage increase.Anyone happen to have done a simple test with the hexagun to see if the damage is dependant on the number of players at all? As it stands it seems like far too difficult a gun to obtain to not be an upgrade over what we already have.
Was basing on resists, even with static damage, better off to make sure no resists in anycase. I will most likely say no increase as that is 2 stat increases for the weapon, and most lyfts that are known only have 1 hidden stat increase for pt member(granted still info needed on these.) Harleym and I will continue to camp this bullshit nm that never spawns.
you can easily deduce resists with QD...
Has anyone tested the TP bonus on the sword? If there is one, it would take all of 5 minutes max to deduce it.
Other than a STR boost, Unshomaru has a hidden Store TP boost that scales according to the number of party members.
No gear at all other than the weapon itself, capped Store TP merits and 8 hits generated the following TP returns:
solo/2/3 party members: 124 TP
4 party members: 125 TP
5 party members: 126 TP
We couldn't get a 6th, I assume that would have resulted in 127 TP total.
Person who was getting TP never got hit and has no Ikishoten merits so these numbers are accurate.
Unless I fail at math the bonuses seem to be:
solo/2 party members: nothing
3 party members: +1 STR, +1 STP
4 party members: +2 STR, +2 STP
5 party members: +3 STR, +3 STP
6 party members: +4 STR, possibly +4 STP
No noticiable TP bonus was observed on weapon skills.
I've been camping Firedance Magmaal Ja, for the Lyft Hexagun, and I'm wondering if it's worth my time, so here some information to help others camp it, to get more information on it.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a92...ke/Mamook3.png
This is the map in Mamook where it spawns. The 3 red dots are normal Watch Wyverns, the blue dots are the place holders, however, it kinda works like CCC in Korr Tunnel, Magmaal will only spawn after the PH on the left is killed, but you have to kill the PH on the right (if that's where the PH is) to get the PH to pop on the left, and the repops are 16 mins apart.
Once it's popped, it's kinda simple, you can kite around the square tunnel in the upper left corner. Until he reaches 65% HP he'll just used ranged attacks, so there's no need to kite, just keep shadows up, after that he'll use ranged, melee, and a TP move Flame Angon, which bypasses shadows, if you're in range.
Hope this helps, and someone else can post some information on this Gun
Camping this guy right now, sadly not for gun, but for evolith. What is the average time you seen for respawn or pop if killing non stop?
Lyft Voulge NM seems to follow a similar system (Two PH spots, only one mob up at a time and the NM only pops in one of the spots). I'm 0/8 or so on it right now, mostly without TH. I strongly suspect the NM gets some kind of boost during Wind weather, as little sense as that makes.
I will do some testing with it when I get it. The GKT STP info makes me hope that the GA has 4% DA or 4 STP with 6 people in party. Seems likely to me that all the weapons give two stats if one of them does. Also, it would probably be worthwhile to experiment and see if party job composition has any effect.
