Lyft Weapon Testing/Speculation

Graoully! I spent a few rounds of killing the two gargouilles by beaucedine zone, but I could be killing the wrong thing, etc. So if it's up after maint I plan to see if what it took the place of (if anything)

So am I right in thinking that with 6 person pt that sword gives +5 STR?

Lets use this thread to discuss the new Lyft Weapons.

They're all lv73, Rare-EX. You can see them here.

So far it has been discovered that each party member after 2 grants 1 STR.

3 members = +1 STR
4 members = +2 STR
5 members = +3 STR
6 members = +4 STR

It has been reported that Lyft Lance has a 50% TP bonus. Some eyeballed tests have confirmed this, but nothing conclusive yet. It is unknown if any other weapons have the same TP bonus.

There is no obvious attack bonus, but an accuracy bonus may be possible.

It is speculated that these weapons may be able to be augmented nicely with the upcoming Synergy System.

Please use this thread to speculate and post any future test results about these weapons.

Update on GG:

POP! &drop fairly easy fight for rdm smn smn cor thf kited around the campagin OP tower. Add effect enpetrify on attacks was doing roughly 400-500dmg/swing, uses the usual gargoyle moves and etc

oh and Unshomaru isn't the sam aern wep for any speculators

Octant is a pretty fast crossbow and Gnats are THF mobs for the most part... there could be something to this logic I was throwing around with my friend.

Various reports of Lyft Voulge giving STR+, but I haven't seen any real concrete proof yet.

Well, I just got Lyft Lance, and I can confirm it has Hidden Effect +3STR on it, however on the JP Wiki, some people have been writing it has a slight TP Bonus effect too, however instead of 100%, its around 50%, I'm currently testing this, but it seems slightly true using Thunder Thrust, I'm testing with Impulse Drive now, but Impulse Drive is more "iffy"

EDIT: Well, after testing with Impulse Drive, it didn't prove to be true, but, I'm not the best tester, if anyone has any ideas that will give me good successful results with testing for a TP Bonus, it would rock.

EDIT2: I just realised, my party left me (Im the only one in the zone) and I lost my +3STR, so it has something to do with the party. [Members: SMN, RDMx2, and WHM]

EDIT3: Okay... well, I had me and the RDM in the zone, and didnt get a bonus, when my other friend entered (DNC) I gained +1 STR, it might have something to do with the amount of pt members. Like, the amount of party members -2 = the amount of STR you gain.
