Thank you J.J. Abrams.. Thank you ; ;
One of, if not my favorite episode, is the one where he fights the guardian of the portal and loses, but then at the end he says it's too soon for him to be there or something and it reveals an older, battle-worn Jack.
YES
I always thought this show is fucking gay with the way how 90% of the episode would end with Jack getting stripped out of the clothes he was in from the battle.
I remember the episode where he met Lone Wolf & Cub, was awesome.
The question of utmost importance to me is 'who will do Aku's voice?' Having an authentic voice there is make or break for me.

this is like a Christmas present come early.
"film will use a combination of traditional cell animation and stereoscopic 3-D."
i'm a little bit worried about that, i really hope they don't do much to change the original look of the show. the show was 90% its authentic and original aesthetic.
About damn time I was waiting for this for years glad something is being done now XD
FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK YYYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/7/2/...ie-update.htmlIn a recent interview with Collider, Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky gave a little update on his long awaited live-action film adaptation of the animated martial arts series. It's interesting to see what the hold up is, apparently the people that are trying to bring it to the big screen can't seem to figure out how to adapt it for what it is. He explains that they can't figure out how to build a movie around what they actually like about the series,
It’s still around. Every year, somebody new picks it up who tries to push it through. I feel like, with Jack, it’s a funny curse. People like it for A, B and C, but as soon as they want to make it, they say, “Well, we can’t do A, B and C.” But, those are the key ingredients that make it successful. Once somebody comes along and just says, “I want to make it for what it is,” then it will get made. But right now, every time we try to run it up the flagpole, it never sticks.
