    Headphones?

Any decent headphones on sale today for black friday? Looking at the $100ish dollar bose worth of quality, but on sale for the day. If anyone knows any sites/has any links, they'd be appreciated.

Necro-ish bump, but what type of headphones are you looking for? Is portability important?

Sennheiser HD238's are on sale for 79~ at Amazon, they are quite portable and have very satisfying sound quality. I'd take them over 150$~ Bose's at any day.

Good quality, durable (I ride my bike an average of 60-70 miles per week). As for portability, I have some cheap 10 dollar ear buds if I am worried about space.

I have Skull Candy Ink'd earbuds and they are amazing. They easily rival Bose headphones in terms of bass. The frequency ranges from 20 to 20,000 Hz, so you truly hear everything that audible by the human ear.

The earbuds I have now have a piece that goes behind the ears to hold them on, regular earbuds ALWAYS fall out of my ear w/o fail. Do the earbuds you speak up have the ear thingie?

I wouldn't risk it, personally, but thanks for the suggestion. Like I said, I bike 60-70 miles in a week, lots of bumps and other goodies to get the earbuds dying to pop outta the ear.

Grados stay on your head pretty well. They aren't the most comfortable but you can't beat the quality of the sound.

I think you'll be somewhat hard pressed to get bike-riding durability out of a quality piece, but Sennheiser is probably going to be one of your better bets. I think they even make some that go behind the head in a sport style rather than over top, if that's your thing. They're also affordable so in the event you wreck them (one good tumble will wreck anything you buy, I'm fairly certain of this much) they can be replaced without much difficulty.

In other matters...Skullcandy is overpriced garbage. They attenuate the bass response at the expense of all else, resulting in a muddy funk. Accurate drivers can do just as good a job at producing bass response without wrecking your mids and highs. You show me a skullcandy that sounds good (if it even exists) and I'll show you another product that sounds identical or better for 2/3 the price, guaranteed.

I have Sennheiser PMX60s and they sound -great-. They're also comfy and easy to wear.

The online stores always seem to list them as way cheap.. maybe its a Canadian thing. I paid $80 for them a few years ago and they're $50 instore now, but showing as a mere $25 online.

The only problem is that I wear them pretty much everywhere, and occassionally the cord gets caught on things... and then I wreck them. T_T This time they're under warranty though.
