This is false. Not to mention this statement is limited to /NIN sub and generally to monsters of merit level or lower.

Ridill isn't bad, but all the WARs that still wanted to put out the best damage dropped their Ridill-intensive merits for Great Axe builds. Mine comes out of storage maybe once every three months if I want to parse it against something.

But most situation where WAR shine is against weak monsters in BC/salvage/nyzul, and nin sub is often more reliable in that kind of situation.

G.axe is good, but there is often better job (blm, sam in my case) if I'm fighting a monsters where g.axe is the best. That said, ridill status is nowhere near as impressive as it was 5 years ago.

Man, I miss the old days and the drama associated with it. Mostly everyone is gonna move on to to the new ff game, correct? I did WOW already and I am not interested in going back.

I played for a month over the summer on Scun's character. It was really boring overall. Leveling is a lot faster cuz in a month I got 60 dnc and cor, thanks to Slone powerleveling me. There's hardly anyone on bahamut that you'd remember. Some of the JPs I used to play with in Dhalmelsclub were still around, but it looked like they were all in new separate linkshells now. I tried to camp king arthro for a couple weeks with Slone and claim always went to the Japanese, just like the old days.

It mostly sucked not having people to play with. Kuno and Slone were the only people who did shit with me cuz I didn't know anyone else lol. I got spit on by Septimus cuz I guess he thought I was someone who bought Scun's character. (Or maybe he hates Scun)

Amarok went back the other day and played for a whopping 20 minutes or something. Then quit again. The game has definitely improved from 4 years ago, but not worth going back to at this point with 14 on the horizon & everyone we know having moved on as well.

Game is pretty jaded. Less drama. You could do well for yourself with that kind of gil, easily funding basically anything you wanted, and likely could make it back too.

I just quit. Still have the accounts though, very unlikely I'll have any luck selling them at this juncture.

It's ironic though, I am spending more money now than I was when I was playing the game.

I do admit, I miss the first years of this game, it was indeed fun. Being banned by old-BG multiple times on these very forums sure was fun.
