My opinionated Adaberk facts©:
- Game-lore-wise, it is supposed to be blue. Adaman ingots are blue, adamantite is supposed to be blue, etc.
- The screen you play it on matters a lot for the way you see it. For those with laptops, try and go from high performance to power saver (which, for me at last, turns your screen brightness down). Bit of a difference already.
- It's fuckin' purple

It's not a shade of purple because, say you have a reddish orange. You know it's orange, it's just approaching red, and NOT the other way around. Same deal applies here.

As Tulun pointed out, you're saying it's purplish blue instead on bluish purple? "Purplish" doesn't even sound right!

Nope! By that logic (or lack there of ) the Adaman set (cuirass/gauntlets/etc.) is/suppose to be blue.

It is technically correct. If you have to choose between purple or blue, there is a certain middle point between both colours where people will distinguish it differently.

And it's not an objective measurement; for whatever reason from your experience, you see it as being either blue or purple.

The best 'definitive' answer would be to ask the intention from the person who originally skinned the adaberk. If they said they intended it to be more blue than purple or vice versa... than done. If they said it was between the two (or some other non-blue or purple answer), than we're shit out of luck.

But, we never will hear that, so carry on.

Look guys, if it was purple, it would match dusk gloves somewhat, and not completely clash... like say blue and purple.

Please, all the Purples go to a Bastok (S) controlled area and look at the flag. If it appears purple you know its your graphics settings.

Being in the Printing industry, if there is less than 20% more magenta then cyan the color will print purple. It doesn't take much R to make B off balanced.

Edit: My monitor matches to Pantone 2766, matching colors include a large majority of blues, however if you look at this chart, it is definately in blurple territory...but clearly 1 line below the purples.
