to the person that refered to purple as a 'shade' of blue

shade refers to how much black is added to a color, not an alternate mix of red/blue to make a new color... you do not get purple by adding black to blue. If you start adding white, you 'tint' it. The word you want is 'hue'. Violet has more red than blue, Purple is usually even mix of the two.

Make a pure saturated Blue in Photoshop. (R:0 G:0 B:255).

Desaturate it a bit by adding equal parts Red and Green. (R:100 G:100 B:255)

Further desaturate it a tad more by taking away a small amount of Blue. (R:100 G:100 B:230)

Now you have something extremely close to the average color of Adaman Hauburk (after removing all the trim/details).
