My favorite Holiday of the year! Black friday, what'd ya nab?

I actually took it relatively light this year, as the most expensive item I bought was an $88 dual screen DVD player from Target. Other than that, just a lot of toys and shit for the kids.

It was funny this morning, my wife dropped me off in the middle of an expressway between Target and Wal-mart (anyone familiar with evansville, IN will understand the Lloyd). I ran to Target, and she ran to Walmart so we could hit both at 5am. So after I left Target (got in and out in less than 5 minutes), I was running down the damn interstate at 5am with a stuffed dog and a DVD player in my hand. Any other day of the year, that would be almost newsworthy. I noticed Target had a fucking truckload of TVs. I almost feel bad for the people that waited in line for hours to get them, because I waited in line for about 15 minutes and there was a shit-ton left when I got in the store.

32"inch sony lcd tv for $398. Only had to wait like 40 minutes in line for it. Not bad. Not something I'd want to do every year though.

Made a purchase Wed. night. Wanted to return it today, as it was defective and wanted to get there early, to make sure it didn't sell out so I could get an exchange. Waited in line for 2-3 hours, and they wouldn't let me in the store "We don't do returns until 11am". Prolly gonna go return it later, but for refund and spend my money elsewhere.

left4dead2 for xbox, bunch of movies, best buy had a lot of unadvertised stuff. avoided buying a ps3, just dont need it (yet)

Didn't go out, got a really nice laptop for $850 (-$85 courtesy of 10% cashback on newegg), got MGS4 for $15 on Amazon, and got an extra PS3 controller for $30 on radioshack I'll probably never use.

Got like $300 left if some other nice online deals show up, could really use another TB or two of storage <.<

Oh, got Midnight Club: Los Angelas for $10 at Walmart for PS3. I wanted to keep it for myself, but I'm going to give it as a gift. That was the only copy they had left too

I spent a lot this year, compared to how much I spent in the past. I spent like 500 bucks in 07' on a Wii and a ton of games/remotes, and I did the same thing last year for a Xbox 360.

This year I went out and bought... a lot of TVs.

I got a 32" Sony Bravia LCD HDTV for my bedroom, going to get my brother to come mount it on the wall for me later.

A 40" Samsung LCD HDTV that will probably go in my game room.

Annnd... a 50" Samsung Plasma for the living room.

I had been saving up all year and I decided to go out and get them today, what better day to do so. A lot of my friends ask me why the fuck I needed 3 new TVs, but the one in my gameroom is dying and I didn't even have a TV in my bedroom, and when I saw the 50"... I had to have it. So yeah, happy day for me.

I just got a BB rewards zone gift card in the mail for $20 so I went out and nabbed a copy of L4D2 for $15 out of pocket.

I worked so I missed most the deals but on lunch I napped a 46 inch plasma T.V for my mom. Called my dad to talk to him about it, my mom answered and handed to my dad, I told him and he yelled out, "A plasma T.V!?" My mom was still in the fucking room. What a waste of a gift.
