FUCK YEAHBob’s Burgers is no longer on the bubble! EW’s James Hibberd is reporting that Fox has picked up animated series Bob’s Burgers.
Bob’s Burgers got off to a big start following an NFL playoff game, but then it waned for a bit before picking up some steam in recent weeks. Its most recent original scored a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating. This past Sunday a repeat (that followed a repeat of The Simpsons) scored a respectable (for a repeat) 1.7 adults 18-49 rating.
With all the other Sunday animated shows already renewed, Hibberd speculates Fox might expand animations to a second night next season. I’d guess not and that there will be some sort of Sunday schedule rotation and/or one of the shows (American Dad, Cleveland or Bob’s Burgers) will get the 7:30p Sunday slot.
i loved last weeks ep in the school lucy is such an instigator and dad and son farts oh the memories~ looking forward to tomorrows ep not sure how many are left to go (missed a few due to weird sleeping pattern)
i assume most of it's hulu + and ep 1 is at least.
Some of the best episodes (Sheesh Cab Bob/Art Crawl) are still there for free.
"Is that all you got storm! Wind Chimes AHHHHHHH!"
Ive never laughed so hard at something so simple.
I liked that the kids thought looting meant picking up random debris off the street.
gene killed it at the end of the looting "Wheeeeeee!"
Everything Gene, Tina & Louise do is great. Their thoughts on their first lobster experiences were so funny.
Goodbye Brazillian, hello rainforest!
It doesn't matter; None of this matters.
S2 don't let me down.
Tim & Eric were the announcers at the baseball games, so many great comedians as guest voices.
Missed this, and the entire sunday night lineup due to Tornado coverage.

After the debut of Allen Gregory handily demonstrated the difficulty of finding welcome additions to its Animation Domination lineup, Fox has announced via press release that it's ordered nine more episodes of Bob’s Burgers, perhaps realizing with this new perspective just how much it appreciated that show. Bob's second season was originally supposed to debut mid-year with 13 new episodes; it will now have 22. Of course, there’s always the possibility that Allen Gregory or the forthcoming cartoon version of Napoleon Dynamite will become such huge hits that they’ll force Bob’s Burgers to delay airing some of those episodes until next season, but there’s also the possibility that your television will develop a taste for human flesh and eat your entire family. In the latter instance, Bob’s Burgers may be delayed indefinitely—not that you’ll notice, because you’ll be dead, gnashed into pieces and slowly making your way through your television’s digestive tract.
Allan won't last two season. But watch it do "well", ugh. American Dad was on break for that show to premiere, but thankfully it resumes this sunday.
fun fact: alan gregory is the name of a gay porn star. can't stop thinking of that every time I see this new show's name come up.
anyway, bob's burgers is awesome. awkward as fuck but that's why I love it. the very first episode, when Tina goes on and on about her vaginal rash, it's like... yeah, it's that kind of show. can't wait for the new season!
new season starts tonight
