BG College Football Bowl Pick Em (and Bowl Discussion Thread)

I don't know if the mods want to use this as a College Football Discussion thread. If so, feel free to lock the other one. If not, I'll bump this probably twice more between now and the start date to make sure people who want to participate aren't missing it.

BG's fourth annual bowl Pick Em is starting up, on ESPN.com. Previous winners are Makaveli, Akiyama, and Laguna. Everyone is welcome -- lurkers, trolls, etc.

If you don't have an account already, you'll need to sign up. Don't worry, it's free, you just need to give them some information, which I would make real in case you win a national prize ($2,000 cash is the top prize amongst ALL entries on espn.com). Just uncheck the boxes saying they can send you stuff, and no spam for you. There is no prize for the actual BG forums group winner other than e-peen, bragging rights, and your name on the list below.

Note that this is a confidence-based point system. There are 34 bowl games including the national championship game. Rank the games from 34 (most confidence) down to 1 (least confidence) and get the corresponding amount of points if you get the game right. It's not about how many games you get right, but how many points you get.

Note that there is one bowl game still to be determined. The EagleBank Bowl won't know if Temple is playing UCLA or Army until after the Army-Navy game. However, it's listed in the lineup as picking either Temple or UCLA / Army so you can pick and rank it now. And you can change it after next week's game before the lock time.

LOCK TIME IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19, at 4:30 PM EST. This is the kickoff time of the New Mexico Bowl. This locks ALL confidence picks, so have your micromanagement done before then. Alternatively, if you want to make all your picks now and not worry about it again, you can do that.

If there is a tie, the second tiebreaker comes down to the national championship game SCORE, so please be sure to predict that as well. I will narrow it down to one winner, so if you don't pick a score, and the tiebreaker comes to that, you will lose. Tiebreakers are explicitly outlined in the Rules section of the College Bowl Mania front page.

Try to incorporate your BG login into your team name somehow so we know who the hell you are. One entry per person in the group, please.

Yup, Got the Pac-10 going perfect, only one not confident about is Arizona v Nebraska, but I'll roll with it

Same. I haven't ordered em as of yet, but I have all the Pac-10 going perfect as well. Only SEC team I have problems with seeing winning also is Kentucky. Tennessee possibly too due to all the trouble, but yeah.
