Has anyone gotten skillups using the wrong fewell for a synth? Ive been doing potions and only been getting skillups when using water, which happens to be the correct element for the synth.

Has anyone traded the completed weapon and got a "cannot be etched" message yet?
SE put in the post notes that the new weapons/armor would be using advanced evoliths (the ones that actually cost scylds to do) and not the run of the mill junk we've been seeing so far. TP bonus still remains an evolith to be found, likely able to be attached to at the least these weapons.
Really seems like this synergy stuff is for these weapons/armors whereas the old stuff is meant to be FoV'd.
Bitches need to hurry and test those weapons on AV now.

With a highest skill of 4 and lowest at 2 when the first was made. Got a few skillups making the others but highest was 6.

Anyone know how to get the new smocks? I thought I saw something in here about trading, but nothing definitive. Who do we trade it to? Do we need any prerequisites?
Trade the original crafting apron to the furnace, and hope for a bit of luck on the synergy. D=

I like crafting, but I never did feel the urge to dump loads of gil into getting a stupid apron... I wonder if the other items will be modable.
Holy shit, the polearm was DMG 96 Delay 507...
Is that enough of an increase to possibly enable 5-hit? All the weapons seem to have pretty high DMG ratings, if a bit high delay.
But I don't see that being too big a deal for DRG and that pole. Just means more TP from Jumps :D (96 base damage is pretty damn high too isn't it?)
That's not high enough delay to enable a 5hit. Make's 6hitting easier though since you'd only need rajas and /sam and 1 more store tp for a true 6hit. (just like warrior). It is the highest damage polearm save relic and stage 4. I personally hope it either has hidden stats or you can evolith/augment it really well. Otherwise i see no point in taking the time to kill the fomor for the broken pole to upgrade it ><
