Would adding 3 of these to this piece make it a good flash piece? Or 3 if perhaps the recast could get to -3% each? And then go for more enmity on other pieces?

I'm not a pld and I guess idk, this is just speculating that you can even etch that evolith into that piece.

Someone needs to go complete the most 'esteemed' hunts. All of the new fomor NM's, as well as the new ~"hNM's" in the past (Zirnitra, Ouvre (sp), Scylla) have elusiveness and ferocity ratings of 10. And they cost like 100+ scylds to hunt. So I would imagine these will give the best evolith.

8 of these NM's represent the 8 elements? Prolly not. Either way, when we see these evolith is probably when we can make a decent call on the value of the system.

My Kabutowari (lv.61 katana) can be etched with a solid diamond shaped evolith slot... (lightning up to size 6). Has anyone even seen a solid diamond shaped evolith? The hell would that be?

So far, the only things accepting evolith slots are 100% "vanilla" items?

So, after killing Kirtimukha (Fort K.N. Hunt 3) 3 times now, I have received:

Vs. beasts: Rng.Atk.+7 (4)
Vs. beasts: Rng.Atk.+7 (4)
Vs. beasts: Rng.Atk.+8 (5)

all fire, all solid upwards pointing triangle. I guess the value of the augment determines the size of the augment.

So right, could you upgrade the dagger to take 3 slots and put all 3 of these on it and if you use it on Ranger, while fighting kirin you would get Ranged Attack+22?

Oh, I need some help from you guys with this type of stuff. Providing pictures as evidence of drops is fine and dandy for those skeptics out there, but I need to see text. I have nearly every picture you post, blocked. I know you care enough about sharing the drops you received to take a screen shot > upload the screen shot to where ever > post it on BG. But if you just post a screen shot, without text to let me know whats going on… It probably won’t make the list, as I have all but a few things blocked. Please provide text.

Is anyone willing to list all items found in pictures for me, so I can incorporate them in this here list?

A couple more things to note. If possible can you include the
1) Name of NM
2) Cost to start the hunt
3) Scylds rewarded from completing the hunt
4) Element, socket, strength
5) Drop

Hehehe, believe it or not we even have two posters in this thread who posted a drop without including something as silly as the NAME of the NM they fought. Help me make the list complete 

The Solid Diamond shape I am guessing is Job Traits, but I am leaning more towards TP Bonus +% since that evolith has yet to be found whereas all the other types (Weaponskill, 2hr, Vs, Magic) has been found.

If I can get that on Neptune's that's actually not too bad... think somebody said HQ staves aren't able to be etched though?

This means that you can only plug 4 evoliths onto the piece of gear. However, as you can see it has high elemental affinity ( 8 ), which corresponds to the high power evoliths that we have yet to see drop. Most normal pieces of gear and weapons I believe will only have at best a strength of (5), but the high powered ones (With hopefully much better stats) will have a strength of 6-8. In this instance though you get to choose 4 "augments" if you find the right evoliths to match.

I think you're reading that wrong, it looks to me like it's saying it can hold one evolith of that shape, one of those 4 elements, and a size of up to 8.
