Flogging Molly hands down, I don't see how this is a discussion.

Expect a huge mosh pitt at FM. I have yet to see them (I was forced to work when I had tix) and all my friends went. They said they weren't expecting the kind of mosh pit they got, it was something out of a Slayer concert.

Seen both live. Go see Muse, they were better. Different experience though: Flogging were a gig, and far too much beer was consumed. Muse is a concert, and I was appreciating the music.

Obev has a point, I hear FM is much more fun/crazy/drunkenness, and Muse would be more focused on being a musical experience.

Yeah, I realize what obev said without even seeing them live... and thats what makes me lean more towards muse, but I'm going to try and save money for both

I like both bands but I'd say Muse. Do not be mistaken- they are really, really good live. Seen them twice, and honestly even though I prefer both Absolution and Black Holes to their new album I envy the man who gets to see Mon coeur souvre a ta voix and Uprising live. They'll almost certainly play Stockholm Syndrome and/or Hysteria too.

Seen Muse twice, both times they were EXTREMELY loud for no reason. I'm an avid concert attendee, but it was ridiculous. One of my friends has permanent hearing damage from one of the concerts so if you decide to see Muse bring earplugs.

I've seen FM as well, and even though I like Muse better from a music standpoint, FM was far more fun to see live. Muse was just average the two times I saw them, although the second time they were opening for Depeche Mode in Sweden.
