Trying to Find a Good Laptop for 600 dollars or under for my mom

I'm looking for a laptop that will be for basic internet, movie, music needs. I'm currently looking at this computer and asking for your input:

Is there a better laptop for 600 or under I can grab? Or is that one pretty decent?

I'm liking this laptop a lot more mainly due to the CPU on the one you mentioned is only a 1.2GHz dual-core. I've also not been too fond of AMD CPUs in laptops as of late. Also, the one I posted is a 14" which is nice compared to the somewhat now standard 15.6-16" laptops. You're losing out on 1GB of RAM (shouldn't be too noticable in 7), 70GB of HDD space and gaining a smaller laptop that comes with recovery discs (she'll have to create the ones for the Acer), longer battery life (I believe the Dell is 5hr+ and the Acer is around 2.5-3hr max), and you'll have the option of picking up the laptop in green, blue or pink from any Best Buy where as that one's online only.

Lastly, current price is $500, I don't think this upcoming week but the following week it's going to drop down to $450 so you can get $50 back if you go back in and price match it with that current week's sale.
