Whats the name of that old science tv show?

Cant remember for the life of me, bugging the hell out of my friends trying to think of his name/show.

It's not Bill Nye, but pretty sure it was an 80s show, I dont think it was 70s. It did play a lot with Bill Nye, and Slim Good Body, but it was this older German guy (pretty sure German), with grey fro-ish hair, and had a sort of high pitched 'squeeky' voice. He was always eccentric saying and doing wierd things; I think one of his phrases was "Watch it, watch it now" as a reaction happened.

The set would be just one table, a chalk board, and some other random things.

I knew it was played a lot during the mid grade school years.
