Just because the regular season is over doesn't mean fantasy football is.
ESPN is running their annual NFL Gridiron Playoff Challenge. The concept is pretty simple. You have a salary cap of $50 and can pick any of the players in the playoffs. Various players have different salaries (i.e. Drew Brees costs $6.5 compared to Mark Sanchez' $5.1), and you can balance them to make the most of your team.
You can also change the lineup after the Wildcard and Divisional rounds, but once the conference championship games kick off, your lineup is set. However, there is one advantage to keeping your players from week to week, as your players lock for you at the salary you bought them for. So if Mark Sanchez blows up for eight touchdowns this week, his salary might increase for next week. But if he's already on your team, you still get him at the original salary.
Everybody is invited -- posters, lurkers and trolls. Entry is free; please incorporate your BG log in into your team name somehow so we know who you are.

Scoring rules can be found on item #8 here: http://games.espn.go.com/nflpc/en/st...me=nflpc\rules Please note the quirks of this scoring system (i.e. no penalty for turnovers), and please note that I don't have the ability to change it. It's consistent for all leagues presumably so that they can declare an overall winner. If you don't like the system enough, don't play. But if you're worried about it, please read the rules because I don't want to hear any bitching about it because you didn't know the system and would have changed your lineup because of it.
There's no prize except e-peen and your name added to the list below. You will have to register with ESPN.com if you haven't already (it's free and you can disable all spam). If you finish first of all 50,000 entries on ESPN, you can get some ESPN-based swag off their website. For that reason, I would recommend using your real name and contact info if you register. If there is a tie, we'll use the ESPN "grand prize" tiebreakers to figure out a single winner.
Let me know if you have any questions about the game or problems registering with ESPN, either by posting here or PM.
