Arizona at New Orleans (-7) - So New Orleans are the losers of three strait and limped into the playoffs. Arizona (Kurt Warner), is a monster. His playoff appearances have been nothing short of phenomenal, and were possible looking at his swan song. Despite that, we didn't see any signs of defense from Arizona last week, and we know that New Orleans is, at the very least, good defensively. It's a home game, Arizona could be short handed, and I think New Orleans is a bit better than people may want to give them credit for after the late season collapse. New Orleans to win and cover.
Baltimore at Indianapolis (-6.5) - It's going to be funny seeing everyone pick Baltimore after they ripped a short-handed and uninspired New England team to shreds. Baltimore has been average all season, they are EXTREMELY one dimensional offensively, which may keep Manning on the sidelines, but it isn't like he needs 30 minutes of possession to put up 30+ points. Yeah, several teams "beat up" the Colts this season, but not a single team beat them when they put forth the effort. An average Baltimore team on the road isn't going to be the first. Indi covers.
SUN, JAN 17
Dallas at Minnesota (-3) - Probably the toughest game for me to pick this week. Dallas's line play has been nothing, and I mean nothing short of spectacular lately. Dallas's offensive line vs Minnesota's defensive line is going to be the matchup of the week. I don't see a lot of production from the 3 back set of Dallas, but I think Romo can have a really good game. If Romo produces and doesn't clutch it up, Dallas will win. I think this game comes down to which QB doesn't throw 3 INTs, because I think one will. Dallas wins.
NY Jets at San Diego (-7) - In an act of the humanly impossible, it appears that Revis has, in fact, performed mitosis and replicated himself. Revis will be guarding Vincent Jackson while Revis will be on Antonio Gates...hold on...what? Oh, Kerry Rhodes is going to be on Gates? Really? So, there's not an extra Revis? Oh. I see. Chargers cover, too much happening on offense for the blitz to be effective.
