No. Fuck no. Just. No.
Fuck.
No. Fuck no. Just. No.
Fuck.
Fuck, her personality is way too over the top for a flick like this. I think McCarthy could probably pull a not so cringe-worthy performance, but the two of them together? Ugh.
Don't wanna be "that guy", but Googled Wilson and McCarthy and this was the first thing that came to mind
Spoiler: show
Will wait until casting is final before I throw in my opinion tho....
Where is this continual, overwhelming burning desire for a Ghostbusters reboot being fueled at?
I just don't get it.
i think bill murray will end up doing it. why wouldn't you do a sequel (25yrs or who cares how long later) to the movie which gave you your career. dick move if not
in movies yes. I think he had stripes before that and i dunno wtf else but that movie made him a star. think eddie murphy before he did bhc

Meatballs, Caddyshack, and Stripes all before Ghostbusters. He had blown up by the time Ghostbusters came around. Think Ryan Gosling by the time he did Drive.
you guys be right. I guess I'm such a fucking fan of gb that my shit be flawed
Well it's not like that either, who isn't a big fan of the original GB, shit meng.
lets show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown
They just need to give up on this already. This has movie bomb written all over it.
I'm guessing they think Ghostbusters is a comedy, hence rumoring McCarthy. Or they need an actual action star, so Jennifer Lawrence?
All of this reeks of "hey remember the first film???" that reboots and remakes suffer from. I sure hope Murray stays FAR away from this now.

ugghhhhMelissa McCarthy, who was already in talks for one of the leads, has signed on for the Paul Feig-directed reboot, and the studio is now negotiating with Kristen Wiig, as well as Saturday Night Live players Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
*sigh*
Obviously okay with Wiig and I'm mostly okay with McKinnon.. Jones just became an actress on SNL this season, but I think the majority of her roles have been angry black women. I don't know if that's the writers' faults or the extent of her skills, but I'm not gonna be very happy if she's one of the cast..
No Rebel Wilson though, so maybe we should count our blessings?
Wiig is awesome and McKinnon is too. Melissa McCarthy is the female Chris Farley. Jones is new to acting but she has been a stand-up comedian and writer at SNL for a few years before becoming a cast member. This is going to be just fine, y'all.
I fucking hate mccarthy for some reason, she is a fucking waste of space
