    Make sure you change out the battery if you buy one ;o

    There is a battery within the cartridge, most (unless its replaced) cannot hold a charge usually anymore. Takes less than 5 minutes to swap out with a special screwdriver bit.

    Reason why I even say this. My Super Mario All-Stars recently just lost all of its saves. Was due to the battery crapping out.

    Wow, I never knew that. I always attributed them messing up to the intense beating cartradge systems are known to endure when they dont work lol.

    Yeah, also recently happened to my SMB3 cartridge. Beat all 3 saves and you can guess what happened when I tried to play it a week later. Lost all saves >< lol

    Anyways like I said, its ridiculously cheap replace (check youtube or google for guides/how-to's). Its pretty much common maintenance anymore since many of the older cartridge game batteries now are beyond their life expectancy anymore.

    I have a working snes with all connections + 2 controllers. No All stars game though
