...are you serious?
Edit: Let me be helpful.
1.) There is a sticky for this kind of thing: http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86387
2.) Why would people coordinate Dynamis cross server?
3.) Dynamis calendars don't work anyways.
because i din't want to be in a situation where someone is in that dynamis area when our linkshell for example made reservations. i remmeber somehow there was a big dynamis calendar that many ppl used but it's not there anymore.
and i think it's an important thing to organize this otherwise it's just chaos.
Reservations..do..not..work.
It was a nice idea when someone thought of it at first but then they noticed how there's always that one jackass that's gonna ruin it all.
Cuz all it takes is only one group that fucks up another one who in turn fucks up another one etc etc...
And then you get in the fun game of revenge and completely retarded thought process.
In conclusion, reserving dynamis doesn't work.
okay understood. so there is no way this could ever work in a game where ppl have to think first and make some preparations before attending endgame content?
Some servers have had them in place forever, and it works pretty well (like Phoenix). But trying to get a server without one to use a new one? Not gonna fly.
found one with a couple of Ragnarok shells but last post was done in april 2009. so it seems dead....
just hoping noone shows up today when we attend dynamis-bastok
Fellowship - Asura
This schedule worked on my server for years. Of course, some LS's pretended they didn't know it existed, and occasionally ruined things for other linkshells that were acting like responsible adults, but it generally worked. I've even worked pickup runs according to the schedule.
Then of course we had a server transfer NASA shell come in, and of course from there on the years-long-tradition of dyna scheduling very soon became useless.
The groups that are active in times that are friendly to those of us in North America on Titan coordinate our zone reservations in the Titan forum on KI. The system has worked well.
I found one for SpikeFlail this week for Ragnarok server. Some of the LSes on the server use it, but the shell I'm in doesn't seem to be listed. We do runs a set 2 nights a week, and the location isn't picked until the leader sees who is online and who needs certain clears still. I've yet to see them not be able to get into a zone or see another group waiting at the location.
and? i just started this endgame stuff. i don't feel embarassed at all when i ask something like this. i don't want to be responsible for problems that occur when we just enter Dynamis and another LS prepared had it booked.
when does the "you are a noob" start?
and with that "spelling"-thing: i was in a hurry because i had to find quickly a site where we can see if that dynamis is already taken at a certain time.
@bungiefan:
thank you. told this calendar to the LS-leader. i think we'll try to put our schedule in it as well.
Use the randomer question sticky for this type of quick question, it will work out better for you in the future.
okay thanks. can be closed now
Ragnarok has a good Dynamis community for the most part and since I would like it stay that way; here is the only server Dynamis calendar to my knowledge:
http://forums.spikeflail.org/calendar.php
I don't think JPs use it, but at the time my linkshell runs we rarely if ever have any steal/misunderstandings. Every now and then you'll get a batch of people who won't follow it, but that usually only happens when a new shell starts so it never seems to last long.
*edit*
Oh man, beated by an eight hours. For shame; I guess that's what I get for skimming. <_<
