Gon can't summon his aura and looks like Grandpa Freecs (possibly) will make an appearance? Looks like the new arc will include Ging, Gon, Leorio, Kurapika plus many more. And I won't be surprised if Gon unlocking/rebuilding his aura results in him getting a power up, considering he looks like he needs one for the upcoming arc.

They have a higher level threat than a human sized chimera ant was given. I don't think a threat level was ever given to the nen using ants or the king and his guards.

Issac Netero's opinion on the Dark Continent was that it required survival strength rather than fighting strength like he was seeking.

I think Meruem is going to remain the strongest character in the series. It's not even possible for a human to approach his level of strength. The stuff in the DC is going to be strong for other reasons.

Apparently Gons adult form was just as strong though remember the ant he was fighting kept saying she had to kill him or else he could kill the king. The she realized he was going to die for using that power and was relieved of the fact. Also strength in this series can be construed in different ways/abilities making someone like kuripka who isn't as strong as the spider guys be able to beat them because of something special (in his case death if he uses his chain on others).

On another note episode 135 is amazingly done, a must watch. Hit me in the feels. Makes me somewhat hate Netero for using the bomb.

We have no idea if she was right though. The Royal Guards can be pretty emotional when it comes to doing their job.

It's also entirely possible that he was as strong as the King was prior to his absorption of Pouf and Youpi.

He didn't get to really live long enough to justify the power up, but he got a whole lot more powerful.

The anime didn't explain the significance of the spy/marshel pieces on the move she did , which is sort of the big part of how it ended ;/
