FFXIV Closed Alpha/Beta Discussion (Cancelled for this week)

Made my application within 30min of the beta apps opening.
My laptop is an Asus G60 gaming laptop, GEForce GTX 260M.
Also posting from great lakes area, EST, USA.
Been playing ffxi since ps2 release.

Email marked "Mon, March 1, 2010 7:51:57 AM" est.
I use Yahoo mail. It was in my main inbox.
I do not own a community site. Though, I did buy most of the promotional items, and the expansions at their release date.

Honestly, I don't think loyalty matters much though.

Why? Not everyone will be getting in beta or did people think if you had a FFXI account and played 5 years+ you were obligated to get in? People need to stop spazzing out.

Anyways I got an invite and my account is canceled but my GF didn't get one and she still has her activated.

EU (but played on imported NA ffxi since ffxi release), quit the game months ago but didn't cancel my account and applied for beta basically as soon as it opened. Sadly, nada. To those who got accepted, enjoy.

I think it depended on which direction your computer is aligned to. Mine was southwest and I didn't get one. :[
