I'd have to say gasping at straws since doesn't Portal 2 take 100 years in the future after the last game? Not saying it's not possible but a bit of a stretch. Although I'm sure they'll try to help bring portal into the HL universe somehow.

They can. It was announced a while ago back when the ps3 steam cloud thing was announced I believe. Pretty sure its only ps3 and pc, not brobox and pc though.
