Are these good TV's? I need to replace the pile of garbage that we currently have. The picture is going and it's bothering the shit out of me now.
I have a Samsung 4k 40" from two years ago and use as a second monitor and love it. I'd have zero issue using it as a main TV since obviously that's what it's made to be used as.
I've always been a fan of Samsung TV's, can't speak for that one specifically but I've had the same Samsung in the bedroom for about 7 years. I went TCL on my last "big" TV but if the price is right I'd say go for it.
Thinking about picking up a gaming laptop, not sure what combination of specs are best on Amazon, though. Anyone that can give me an idea what to look for in today's market? I don't just want to go in blindly.

XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition 8GB GDDR5 plus two games for $156.99 plus tax most likely. $20 mail in rebate. Must check out using MasterPass and promo code MPGM18. Free games to choose from include: The Division 2, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5.
Incredible value right there. XFX is a top notch quality product with awesome customer service. I RMA'd a Vega 64 I bought off Ebay and had zero issues. If you're playing 1080p and need an upgrade I would pounce on this, especially when Freesync is much cheaper if you're also in the market for a monitor.
damn I am tempted to buy and just sell my 1070 since I have a freesync monitor anyway. SHIT MAN
Absolute best bang for your buck at $120 for this processor which includes a pretty great for stock cooler. Ryzen R7 1700 8 core 16 thread CPU. In other words, if this is still available, buy it ASAP.

I finagled a 1700X in mid 2017 for $160 by ordering a combo deal and selling the GPU. To be fair I'm not sure how much "better" it is than the 4690K I had but the price to value can't be beat. I'll put myself out there that if someone is in the market to upgrade now and would pass this up to buy a $120 Intel chip, that is the definition of fanboy and a terrible choice.
Looking for some website or a place to find a bomb deal on a soundbar. My 15 year old receiver and speaker system is on its way to dying a quiet death and I'd like to replace it with something more simple than wiring up the basement again.
Price to stay under $300. Appreciate any ideas.
