    Classic Doctor Who comes to Twitch for seven-week marathon

    Over 500 classic episodes from the 26 seasons of classic Doctor Who will air worldwide on the live streaming video platform Twitch from May 29th.

    Fans will be able to watch adventures from the first seven Doctors – from 1963’s An Unearthly Child to 1989’s Survival – while chatting live to thousands of other viewers around the world.

    So, some clips leaked today of series 11 and in the video we see the new Doctor with a new Sonic and oh boy...it looks a bit... well..

    Yeah I'm reserving judgement until I see. I have nothing against female Doctor but I don't like her outfit and the trailer with the pop music put me on edge. Her companions seem, bland so far so we shall see.

    Apparently there will be no arching story AT ALL between the episodes. Just 10 random episodes that are not connected to each other in any way.
    Initially they said it will just be 1 big story that spans the entire series...

    I'm turned off more and more... but let's see what happens on Sunday.

    On the other side, each episode is going to have a longer run time. 65 minutes for the premiere, and an average of 50 min for the rest of the series (as opposed to 43 minutes or whatever is the standard is for hour blocs)

    Capaldi's seasons haven't really had an overarching story, there has been a thread that connected some episodes to the endgame of the season. So I'm gonna hold my judgement until I see the whole thing.

    From the way the first episode ended the whole season might be just one large long adventure with each episode connected directly to the last. This is Chibnalls strength because he is known for being good with episodic cliffhangers

    And I'm digging the new theme, new Who themes had been getting more and more flamboyant with the base theme but this almost seems like it's from classic Who era. Almost 7th Doctor ish without sounding as blatantly 80's.

    Yeah, I'm glad that doesn't seem to be true lol.

    Quite liked this first episode and looking forward to the rest of the season. New characters seem interesting enough so far, but way too early to completely judge them.
