Chapter 7 Chest during Snow's House Invasion

Well this will probably be a stupid question but:

During the invasion where you can repeatedly farm chips; there is a treasure sphere in the hallway that perpetually seems to have an X on it for me implying that I need to kill nearby enemies to open it. I kill them 5 stars in like 20 seconds, but when I run back, I can't open it still.

What's the deal?

EDIT 2: Delete this, apparently walking the loop the other way fixes this

To be fair, you wouldn't think that particular chest only opens if you run in one direction through1 room and 2 halls of a house. And you don't know if he only spent 10 seconds or was fighting soldiers for 10 minutes.

Yeah I totally skipped that chest. What was in it again?

I killed both sets of enemies in the main room.

I walked back to the treasure at the end of the hall.

I noticed that some enemies had respawned before I even reached it.

The treasure wouldn't open obviously due to the close-proximity of the enemies.

I ran over and killed only the closer of the two groups.

I ran back to the treasure and opened it.


So, what's the problem?

I guess... red chest means mobs are around... so you look around and see mobs > go kill. Chest doesnt require u to run one way, just requires u to clear the mobs directly down the hall from it (not those around the corner - unless you have agrod em previously)
