Just got back from seeing it, and I gotta say, I didn't really like it. Worst of the Marvel movies

I gotta say I thought the movie was ok at best. I liked the beginning when he was all skinny and how it was a good underdog story but the second half was boring and I would have liked more of a character development. Chris Evans did very good job. As far as being the worst of marvel movies it doesn't even hold a candle to the flaming pile of dog shit that the Daredevil was. Every time I have flashback of Ben Afleck as Matt Murdock I wish toxic chemicals were spilled into my eyes instead of his.

The only way to stop it was to crash it, yeah. Does that mean he had to nose dive that fucker into the ice? No, just crash land it into the ice like that one guy did when a commercial aircraft's engine failed, like that youtube guy who landed his small plane in a street when his engine failed, or like tom cruise did in knight and day!!!!

To edit some more in so that the rage ends: I wasn't saying the movie would have been better if capt survived and was able to dance with the girl. I wasn't saying the movie sucked. Pretty much how I felt. Granted, with the way Marvel is pushing for the Avengers film (having had to delay it already), I guess they didn't want to take the multi-part movie route.

Movie was alright, I enjoyed it for what it is, except......

Seeing Schmidt as Agent Smith would be the same thing as seeing any movie with Viggo Mortensen and saying "I can't stop seeing him as Aragorn".

Hugo Weaving has had more roles than Agent Smith. Like, I dunno, V? Elrond?

It depends on what you have seen by said actors though. Lord of the Rings was the first time I saw Viggo so I could infact not stop seeing him as Aragorn in other stuff for a while. I've had way more exposure to Hugo Weaving at this point though.

Thing about Hugo Weaving, is that he says all his lines with the same cadence, regardless of what character he is playing. Sometimes it's more pronounced, like in The Matrix movies. Probably not something people will notice unless they pay attention to it.

When I saw Fellowship of the Ring in theaters for the first time and saw him as Elrond, I felt the same way; for about the first 10 seconds, then I got past it. I think it had to do, for me, with seeing Hugo Weaving for the first time really as an actor as Mr Smith and the Matrix (first one) being such a huge hit movie.
