Michael Jai White should be The Falcon (Sam Wilson), he played Spawn in 1997 and Black Dynamite in 2009. Chris Evans as Captain America...lol...holy shit man Johnny Storm...? WTF Captain America is a SERIOUS character man...If anything I could see Chris Evans playing The Flash (Wally West) sometime in a future...but Captain America...?
Obviously Will Smith would of been perfect, but I doubt he'd take a role where he's not the Lead Actor at this point. He REALLY want's that Academy Award. He should of gotten it for Ali man...That Movie was PERFECT!!!
Captain Awesome = Captain America God damn it.
I don't think Chris Evans can play a good Captain America... then again I didn't think Heath Ledger would make such a fantastic Joker either. Hope he proves me wrong.
Chris Evans would definitely not be my first pick as Cap, but as stated before, Heath Ledger as the Joker threw a lot of people off too.
I just started watching Justified this morning (for lack of things to do) and here's another one I'd have never expected: Jacob Pitts. You know him as Cooper from Euro Trip - "This isn't where I parked my car." I must admit, I am pleasantly surprised to see him in a drama, and doing well at it.
Let's wait for a decent trailer, and not some teaser bullshit, before Evans catches anymore grief.
Ledger may have threw people off when he was first cast, but the dude was a way more brilliant actor than what Chris Evans has shown so far.
Point taken. I won't lie, I like Evans, I think he has potential, he just hasn't been cast in the right role yet. I don't think Cap is gonna be it, but I can hope (mainly because I'll go apeshit if he sucks).

The rumors are true: Tommy Lee Jones will be in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Comic Book Movie points out an interview that English actress Hayley Atwell did on May 23rd at the BAFTA Craft Awards wherein she confirmed that the Oscar winner would be among her cast members in the Marvel movie.
The site points out that the most prevalent rumor is that Jones will play General Chester Phillips, the hard-nosed commander who selected Steve Rogers for Operation Reborn and later oversaw his training and early missions as Captain America.
Tommy Lee Jones is win. Glad to see he's still up and around.
he's great and all... but old? -_-

Neal McDonough has joined the cast of Captain America.
According to Deadline, the actor -- who is no stranger to playing military men having starred in Band of Brothers, The Guardian and Flags of Our Fathers -- is in talks to play Dum Dum Dugan, one of the Howling Commandos, in the Marvel movie.
McDonough's other credits include his villainous turn as M. Bison in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, Traitor, Walking Tall, The Hitcher, Timeline, Minority Report and Star Trek: First Contact. His small screen credits include Boomtown, The X-Files and Desperate Housewives.
Captain America begins filming this July in the U.K.
I dig the costume design, btw.

Long as he has the 'stache/red hair, should be good.
Stanley Tucci was just announced as Dr. Erskine
didn't even catch that
Seeing Captain America, Thor, and Green Lantern topics back to back makes me see how far we've come since the first Spiderman.
