And yet the regular melee setup with good players is still the best option.
No displacers, non-MS.

Be right back, fapping.
buuut howwwwwww?
Cerberus in BR take extra dmg from magic if you hit him with melee a lot, some sch got a few 9k MB too. This looks nice still.
I was gonna mention that, but that doesnt explain the hydra
Oh didn't even notice it, nice, totally gonna try to SC MB it too and see what it do :D
I mean, with a mcrit and the MB bonus from AF2+2, you could get up to another 70 MAB. Avatars probably also have magic burst bonus for another 13% MB damage. Also, Tachi has all the BP damage gear and Nirvana. Still, that would be on the order of 2-2.5x normal, not 3~4x normal. Also, I doubt he uses the Mcrit feet.
Maybe with a multi step skillchain?
I'm gonna say yes, those are prolly m.crit feet. I pulled something like a 7k crit with heavenly strike in Legion with them. Its just patience.
Okay, Sengikori could be responsible too! That's another +35% MB damage if used properly, and I have to imagine that this would be a proper use.
eh? Whats that?
Edit: Okay looked up. Never even knew that existed tbh.
I use Shedir Crackows, no double Light Skillchain but Sengikori yea.
I noticed my MBs are less and less powerfull on NQ/HQ Cerberus, it's something like 9500 > 7000 > 6000 > 4000... Today on the NQ Cerberus I decided to wait 40% before the first MB (I wanted to wait 25% but the PDT was already too high) and did 14,970 damage with Thunderstorm (it was earthsday) Melee and WS damage suddenly reverted to almost a normal state after.
So instead of general PDT, he gains resistance to whatever damage is inflicted the most?
Yes, i theorized that in the salv thread, and others confirmed it via fight tactics.
Think of it like a 50/50 scale, as it takes physical damage, it takes lowered physical damage, but its magic damage taken goes up.
