hopefully they remove heartbeat sensor.
Seeing as how this takes place during Vietnam/60s, I sincerely doubt heartbeat sensors would be viable.
To my knowledge, Vietnam isn't the only time frame the game takes place in. There were a lot of "Modern" things in the most recent trailer.
Seeing how this doesn't work in MW2 anyway, their change really doesn't mean shit other than you have to keep shooting. It was only applicable in MW1, where dying after getting chopper to chain call in stuff was viable, and often, a great tactic.
I love the bullshit treyarch spews, W@W had more camping than even MW2 does, and that's saying something.
I think what they meant about the killstreaks is this:
"At this stage in development, killstreaks stack..."
Meaning you can save up killsteaks if you want to. You won't lose them simply because you did'nt use them.
"...and carry over if you die,..."
Pretty simple, unused killstreaks will still be available when you respawn.
"...but do not contribute to further killstreaks."
Ever. Even if you did not die. You will not be able to get predator, use it to get harrier, then wait for the harrier to get your chopper gunner.
I like this idea, it will stop those that sit in a corner or launch random tubes for 5 kills and then run and hide while they use their KS's. But it won't phase anyone with decent skill who doesn't need to use one KS to get his next one.
Yeah as I was reading that, that's what I think Kaster. Which will be really nice. I think they are taking a step in the right direction. Question though, who is working on thet new map pack? IW or Treyarch?
Something is up. I should know soon. I smell beta.
People play CoD games for campaign? hahahahah
Are people actually getting this?
Yes they are. Total there was nearly 14Million preorders worldwide and sold initially for MW2. (An additional 6million+ have been sold since) At the moment, with the current momentum this game is estiamted to hit the 12Million mark.
At my location we are about on par to hit 3/4 of what we hit with MW2.
Now keeping this in mind. By this time last year, we knew just about everything for MW2. We really don't know shit about Black Ops. Wait until they release this Beta, and dump the new muliplayer mode they have under wraps, as well as everything else.
If the dedicated servers on pc don't have some sort of bullshit with them. I'll be getting on PC.
Mw2 was my last CoD title. Pissed me off way to much. I may have had my fun with it but in the end was not worth it to me.
I hope they do fix it for everyone that does buy it. The only reason I would play this would be if for some random reason a person did buy it for me.
It'll probably be like World at War.
Everyone buys it, plays it, hates it and runs back to MW.
Edit: Although the removal of commando makes me hard.
I liked the campaign in CoD 4 a lot, MW2 notsomuch.
The only way I would ever pick this up is if there is playability, modability, and free DLC for PC. No point in playing a game you cannot continue to enjoy on your own.
