Post here if you're an (Ultimate) Hero

Just curious as to how many have finished everything. Post your date/time for your first trophy (Instrument of Fate) and your last two (Ultimate Hero + whatever). If you've got the game save, also post the time and playtime for the "New Dawn" chapter, the game save right after you've beaten the game. Finally, post your playtime when you got final trophy.

Instrument of Fate: 3/9 1:42 AM
The New Dawn: 4/8/2010 6:31 PM Playtime: 65:33:43
    Ultimate Hero: 4/30 5:00 PM Playtime: 106:37:25

    Treasure Hunter was my last.

Wish I did have this game platinum'd. I just somewhat lost interest after doing the initial batch of Cie'th stone missions. Been stuck on the Behemoth one for awhile and just haven't been in the mood to find a good place to grind CP.

Which Behemoth one? Humbaba? You should be able to kill one of these if you are able to finish the game.

Mission 9, the one with the Kaiser Behemoth. I've been trying to do all the missions as I come across them, but I'm feeling that I'm severely underlevelled for the area and am not sure what to level off of exactly to rectify that.

Ah, I'm afraid I did that after the main storyline (meaning it was a complete joke). Am I right in thinking you haven't finished the game yet?

I think your best bet would be one of two methods, depending on the strength of your characters:

    1. Fully debuff thingy (SLOW is the important one), equip offensive accessories, bring it to 50%~ HP and zerg it before it finishes standing upright (and restores all of its HP), or;
    2. Equip damage reduction accessories and do it slowly but surely. Ensure it remains fully debuffed throughout the fight (SLOW again being important) and then zerg it when you Stagger it. Consider using a SEN almost fulltime.

    I'd use a party of Sazh +

    Method1: Fang + Lightning
    Method2: Hope + Fang

You want Sazh for Haste. Method1's party allows you to effectively build chain with COM/RAV/RAV and potentially zerg with 3x COM whilst keeping debuffs and a SEN for emergencies. You could use Hope over Lightning if you feel you need the better healing.
Method2's party is more defence-orientated, with a stronger healer but still strong offensive capabilities. Fang can tank using SEN and the other two as COM/RAV => RAV/RAV as necessary. Remember Fang is the one with Slow though!

Method1's zerg party is Sazh + Fang + Lightning all of these have COM naturally!

Aye, the etc. was the bigger part than the com heh.

If he's too short on CP to kill a behe, it's probably safe to assume he's not going to have fang heavily developed as sab or sen, let alone both, for example. It's also likely that if his Sazh has 2 roles developed fairly well, one is probably syn, leaving either his rav or his com weak.

etc., again with emphasis on the etc. lol

    TH was last trophy.

    Overall Playtime was: 155:21

    Had a second playthrough.

Also, God of War 3 and Just Cause 2 came out between game completion, so took time out to play those.
