Abyssea - La Theine = Tarutaru Sashes, Jeweled Collars, and Resetsu Jinpachis
Abyssea - Konschtat = Dark Rings, Wivre Hairpins, and Tower Shields

Items and their augments have nothing to do with the type of mob killed. It's just zone specific with superior augments coming from top-tier gold Sturdy Pyxis.

What kind of "superior" augments land on Tower Shields? Or Wivre Gorgets for that matter?

It looks like so far from what I've seen, these are possible "superior" augments~

Adaman Barbuta = Regen, Cure Potency
Wivre Gorget = Critical Hit Rate
Demon Ring = Magic Attack Bonus, Magic Critical Hit Rate

Tarutaru Sash = Treasure Hunter
Jeweled Collar = Fast Cast
Rasetsu Jinpachi = Zanshin

Dark Ring = Physical Damage Taken, Magic Damage Taken, Breath Damage Taken, Enemy Critical Hit Rate
Wivre Hairpin = Refresh
Tower Shield = Shield Mastery
